About Me:

24 female. with a thyroid issue. but working on things

The goals I'm working toward:

  • finishing school
  • dropping the pounds

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

i have not really felt comfortable with my weight since i was about 15. that is when i started rapidly gaining weight. it wasnt until i was almost 17 that my dr. discovered that i had hypothyroidism. causing my metabolism to slow and me to gain a bunch of weight. still working on getting the right dose of meds.

My favorite healthy food:

snow peas... i love snacking on them!

My guiltiest pleasure:

strawberries with honey...

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

i am still young and i am planning my wedding and being a nursing student i know that there are alot of risks to pregnancy if you are over weight so i just really want to avoid it if i can

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • drinking lots of water
  • exercising 2 - 3 times a week
  • parking the furthest from the door.

My favorite activity at the gym is:

i have found a new love! i love doing spin classes i think that they are a blast.

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • i just recently lost 10.5 lbs in 3.5 weeks!
