About Me:

32 years old, working on getting healthier for 3 years now... and almost 80 lbs total loss since!

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Running a faster race pace
  • Continue on my weight loss journey
  • Complete a 1/2 marathon in 2013

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

3 years ago when I started dieting and exercising

My favorite healthy food:

my breakfast and dinner protein shakes

My guiltiest pleasure:

Trix cereal

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I don't want to be unhealthy in my older years like my mom is. I want to age gracefully. I want to push my body to see just what it is capable of doing.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Protein shakes for breakfast and dinner
  • Maintaining a strict 1500 cal daily intake
  • Exercising every day
  • Running, signing up for races keep me motivated

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Boxing, Zumba

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Being able to run a 5K without stopping
  • Running a 10K
  • Loosing almost 80lbs
