The goals I'm working toward:

  • loose 25 pounds over the next year and maintain a healthy lifestyle
  • Loose the fat that is located in my midsection and not claim it on age
  • work out on a regular basis

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I weighed 130 pounds I am not at 185 and 54 years old so it's not going away easily

My favorite healthy food:

apples and peanut butter
whole grain pasta
yogart and granola or real fruit

My guiltiest pleasure:

homemade sweets
chocolate, carmel and nuts in a candy bar (snickers)

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

a healthy lifestyle for me would eliminate at least three medication that I am currently taking, I would look and feel better and I am sure to have more energy so that I can be an example for my kids and grandkids. I plan on growing older gracefully and BEAUTIFULLY

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • cook and pack my own meals so that I control what is in them
  • Walk and exercise a lot more
  • add more protein to combat the urge to eat sweets

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Cardio and resistance

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • My beautiful grand children
  • My very smart children
  • My volunteer work
