My favorite healthy food:

Grilled or roasted zucchini with garlic

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I'm finally figuring out I don't have to be tired, in pain or embarrassed by my size. When I take care of myself first, I have the energy to take care of others.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • No creamer in my coffee
  • Working out with a trainer x2 a week (baby steps!)
  • Carry a water bottle with me EVERYWHERE I go

My favorite activity at the gym is:

The free weights! I never thought I'd hear myself say that!

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Losing 120 pounds
  • Working toward my B.A. (9 classes to go!)
  • My relationship with my husband & daughter
