About Me:

I am 35 from a tiny little town between Nashville and Memphis. I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. I remember my mom taking me to doctor after doctor; each one told her I either had baby fat and grow out of it as I got older, or they would tell her I was big-boned! Then, one day she found a doctor who said that there are no bones that big. That's when my diet years began - at 10 years old.

Needless to say, I always failed at dieting, because I was always hungry, and I ate with every emotion. I ate when I was sad; I ate when I was happy; I ate when I was excited; and it goes on and on. My eating habits became worse after high school, when all my friends either got married or moved away.

When I got older I found myself in a hospital bed, on oxygen and with diabetes. My mother had to help me in and out of the shower. I weighed close to 600 lbs. then, so my mother started getting me up and walking me little by little every day, until I was closer to 500 pounds. My knees were so shot after

The goals I'm working toward:

  • getting to my ideal weight 220
  • Toning my body
  • To increase my over all health and Happiness

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

i was a child

My favorite healthy food:

my favorite health food is a recipe from Organic Liaison site but tweaked By Jennifer aspen ..Bananna Cups

My guiltiest pleasure:

my guilty pleasure isnt food being a part of Organic Liaison this long i have learned to reward my my self with somthing other than food so my guilty pleasure is Watching ROseannes Nuts

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

i want to see my neice and nephew Grow up and graduate high school and college

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • replacing all sugar products with somthing more healthy
  • Glowing (Sweating ) at leaste an hour a day and keeping cardio up
  • Always updating my food and nutrition knowledge

My favorite activity at the gym is:

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Recieved Key to The city of Jackson Tn for my Dedication to my health and obesity and nutrition awarness
  • Being a sucessful activist for childhood obesity in my comunity
  • Converting to an Organic Life style
