About Me:

Family means everything to me and to me family has nothing to do with blood. I love having people in my life "who charge my battery, and don't drain it" if you know what I mean. There is so much negativity in the world today that it is nice to see the brighter side of life.

I had a gastric bypass in 2000 and lost 150 lbs. In 2006 I noticed I was gaining a bit of weight and nipped it in the bud and since then have stayed consistent with my weight. Last fall I was put on some medication, where I gained some weight for no apparent reason. Am off the medication but struggle to take that weight back off. Still watching what I eat, exercising, drinking water - a very long plateau.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Weight Loss
  • Consistent Exercise Routine
  • Health

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

my teens

My favorite healthy food:

love all vegetables

My guiltiest pleasure:

salty and crunchy anything

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

health related issues - be around for my family - my daughter as a role model
