About Me:

My name is Cassie, I'm 20, 5'7 and 184 lbs on an athletic frame. In November 2008 I lost 20lbs due to working two jobs and always being on the move (I worked from 8 AM - 2:40PM at one job and then 3 - 11 at another). After quitting the night job I maintained my weight (168, down from 188) until March of 2009 when I started gaining weight in my pregnancy. I lost the baby in late May and am back at 184lbs. I hope to get back into the body I had a few months ago but an improved version. My goal in pounds is 150, but the numbers aren't what matter, although they help, the way your body looks, feels and fits into clothes is what matters.

It's now two months later and I've happily lost ten lbs. My tracker has been very motivational, nothing like seeing the line on the chart pointing downwards =) I'm mentally feeling better about myself and what I'm wearing. I feel sexy all the time. Though I didn't consider myself fat before, the extra weight still felt like it was pulling me down and now I

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Making it to the top of the toughest wall where I go rock climbing
  • To get my weight down around 150 by losing body fat
  • To fit into a size ten nicely (Currently anywhere from a 13 - 15)

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

May 2009

My favorite healthy food:

Almost every kind of fruit, yogurt, salads, cottage cheese with pineapple, activia yogurt, Southwest Salad with grilled chicken from McDonalds is a must have. I crave it all the time

My guiltiest pleasure:

Pizza and wings or fries from McDonalds

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I've had a healthy body before and I'd like it back. I loved how I felt and looked, especially in pictures. It was thrilling to see pictures taken of me that I liked every time.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Rock climbing as a new hobby
  • Naked therapy, force yourself to take in your naked body when you're alone. When you stop and look you realize it's not really that bad
  • Taking up boxing

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Rock climbing/Boxing

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Losing 20lbs last year
