About Me:

I am a RN in North Carolina. I have 3 children that keep me very busy. Work is also very stressful. I have decided to take a little time for myself to get in shape and learn about healthier option to not only better my quality of life, but be an example to my children and better thiers as well. I am in love with the show Biggest Loser, and find myself trying to learn as much as I can about fitness & nutrition. I would do just about anything to get on the Ranch at the Biggest Loser Campus, but know I don't have much chance at that, in comparison to other applicants. So I am trying this on my own, with little support from my family. If I make a difference in my life, I can influence others and can help others as well.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Long term: Weight 150-160# (thats about 60 # weight loss needed)
  • I would like to run in a marathon.
  • Teach others the importance of proper nutrition and excersise.

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

Since I had my first son, over 10 yrs ago.

My favorite healthy food:

I love veggies!

My guiltiest pleasure:

Definately Ice Cream!

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I want to feel good about myself and be a good example for my children.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • I like going to the gym to work out.
  • I have been trying to calorie count my daily intake.

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Body Pump class.

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Getting my nursing degree.
