When you think of quesadillas you think fluffy corn tortillas, gooey cheese, and maybe some tender grilled chicken. When Taco Bell serves chicken quesadillas to thousands of people every day, some may think these are the ingredients they're getting, too. However, this popular menu item contains nearly 100 ingredients ranging from artificial flavors and MSG, to disodium guanylate.

If you're unfamiliar with this ingredient, we'll let you know it is very similar to the aforementioned monosodium glutamate. The only difference with this flavor enhancer is that it is approximately 50-100 times more potent than common MSG. It's normally added to menu items in fast food chains because it is less expensive. It causes the same symptoms associated with monosodium glutamate.
