Olympic Athlete Spotlight

Wescott first started out as a skier when he was just eight-years-old; but when he stepped on a snowboard for the first time when he was 10, his life changed. He stopped skiing in 1998 to focus solely on snowboarding, and his dedication paid off. He competed in the X Games and won the first gold medal in the 2006 Turino Winter Olympic Games when snowboarding made its Olympic debut. (Photo Credit NBC/USOC)
