These nuts are calorie-dense, but also high in nutrients. Dry-roasted almonds are a very good source of vitamin E, and manganese, and are low in cholesterol. Walnuts and pecans are good sources of manganese and iron, and also contain calcium. Just don't get candy-coated or sugar-coated nuts, the sugar will offset the nutritional gains.
