Another food from the big state of Texas, fried butter is made from whipped butter that's wrapped in dough and fried. The balls are then covered with sugar. Some have compared fried butter's consistency to that of a cream puff, while its creator, Abel Gonzales Jr., describes it as "a mix between a biscuit or a croissant that is just stuffed to the gills with butter on the inside." This food is unquestionably high in fat and cholesterol.
