Finally, one universal tip is to always try and elongate your legs as almost every body shape looks flattering with the illusion of longer, leaner legs. It's an old tip that heels can make your calves looks thinner and more muscular, and it's true. Also, pants that are wide in the leg tend to shorten the legs, while slimmer slacks and jeans tend to make them look longer. When it comes to skirts, try to avoid anything that hits mid-calf. Knee-length skirts are flattering on almost all body types.

At the end of the day, if you really want to wear an unflattering article of clothing, rock it anyway! Your inner confidence and happiness will radiate outward and you will still look beautiful.
