Calories Burned in Olympic Sports

Weightlifting burns fat at a quicker rate than cardio does. Weightlifting for 30 minutes reduces 117 calories and builds muscle as well. Kendrick Farris will be partaking in the 2012 Olympics weightlifting competition. Farris is in the 85KG weight class and can burn more than 117 calories, because he has to hold his weights for a certain number of breaths. The more the weight, the more calories you burn.
