Biggest Loser 14 Contestants

Twenty Eight year-old Cate Laughlan has struggled with her weight for as long as she can remember. Her unhealthy weight gain began in grade school in Ransomville, NY. Cate weighed her heaviest, 265 pounds, when she started college and working. After two years in college, Cate earned a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management focusing on leadership.

Realizing that she her weight was holding her back on life Cate started losing weight on her own and lost 30 pounds. Hitting her weight loss plateau, Cate felt that she needed some help to finish her weight loss journey. Cate said, "I am lost, literally, in all I have become with my weight gain. I'm under here somewhere, underneath all of these pounds that weigh not only on my body, but emotionally on my heart as well." With the help of Biggest Loser, Cate is ready to tackle her health and weight problems.

Once the weight is off Cate looks forward to dating, buying clothes fashionable clothes, running with her brother, and outdoor activities.
