2012's Most Enviable Olympic Bodies

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps made big news in the last Olympics with his 1,200 calorie diet to fuel his intense workouts. And reportedly, he's back to the same routine and doesn't think it's that crazy considering his activity level.

Just a few of Phelps' Olympic training strategies include swimming 31 miles a week, strength training four days a week, and doing weighted pull-ups with a 40-pound vest.

"I'm doing more Olympic-style lifts like power cleans and snatches and plyometric push presses and box jumps, to get explosive power for jumping off the block and pushing out of turns," Phelps told Details Magazine in a recent interview. "At this point in my career, everybody has caught up, so I'm fine-tuning the little things that add up to make a huge difference."
