2012 Super Foods

Kale is definitely one of my favorites on this list. I was talking to my friend Jennifer Berman, of Jennifer Berman Corporate Yoga in Birmingham, Alabama, about the rage of kale. She said, “I believe the trend of smoothies and juicing will continue to grow in 2012. Kale is high in fiber, vitamins A, C, K and trace minerals. It is one of the most nutritious foods you can consume. Ever since I added kale to my diet, I have seen an increase in energy and had less cravings for sweets.” That is reason enough to add it to your diet.
