Chocolate Crunch Bars

A homemade version of a favorite candy bar.

Per Serving 96 Calories; 2.2g Fat; 0g Fiber
Yield: Makes 24 bars


  • 6 cups Cocoa Crisp rice cereal
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. margarine
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. reduced-fat peanut butter
  • 8 oz. large marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup reduced-fat semisweet chocolate morsels


  1. Place rice cereal in a large bowl; set aside
  2. Combine margarine, peanut butter and marshmallows in a medium saucepan
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth
  4. Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal, stirring until cereal is well coated
  5. Stir in chocolate morsels
  6. Press mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray using a rubber spatula coated with cooking spray
  7. Let cool completely
  8. Cut into 24 bars
