Diets in Review Question

Why am I being told I might not be able to do the hcg shots?

I am 5' 7" and had gained a little over 20lbs - pushing me to 157lbs. I know that for some people, this is not considered 'overweight'. But I know my body, and I am much more comfortable around 135lbs. I am currently in phase 2 of the Nuviva plan...and the dr. isnt even sure he will "allow" me to do the hcg phase. Why? I have more than 20lbs to lose and nothing else seems to be helping. Isnt it my choice?? There are girls my height who weight 115 or 120 and look fine. I just want to get back down to 130-135. That is not rail thin!

Did you ask them? The Nuviva I go to (Ft. Myers FL) is extremely helpful and they encourage questions at my visits, to call with them or even ask on FB!
