how to properly do push ups?

I have a problem with push ups , I weigh 200 lbs. so lifting myself up is hard . I feel like I am toppling over on my face how can I do these the right way?

When starting out doing push-ups, I recommend you do them from the wall standing on a slight diagonal. Focus on trying to keep your shoulder blades completely still. Next, you can move onto the floor performing them on all fours. This is safest and appropriate for the beginner.
