Are snacks ok on the first cycle of the 17 Day Diet?

I am on day 2 of cycle one and find myself hungry all the time.... Are there any snacks that are ok?

yes you can have the approved veggies, protiens and yogurt.

Check out the 17 day diet recipe club. I found it under The Doctors website. All sorts of snacks, and great meals to make sent in by people on this diet. And they list after each recipe what cycle it goes with. I have a lot of wonderful yogurt desserts and just had a great popcorn califlower snack this evening.

You get two snacks per day -- I eat a Breakstone live active 4 oz. cup alone or with one of my two fruits of the day in the morning and that keeps me very satisfied until lunch. I have a no fat greek yogurt with my other fruit in the afternoon and that easily carries me through until dinner.

I am on day 4 and finally not feeling hungry. I think some of the hunger was withdraw from carbs..but I did notice I was not eating enough. Make sure you eat well when you have your main meals. I eat 2 turkey burgers for dinner with a big salad. My fitness pal. com is a good place to enter your calorie count. On day 2 I was starving when I went to bed, but realized the next day I had only eaten 800 calories! When it comes to lean protein and veggies dont get stuck on portion control. Eat untill you are full.
