Do You Know the Best Diet Pills of 2024?

BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND

Jillian Michaels' Triple Process Body Detox & Cleanse plus Probiotic Replenishment is a weight loss supplement that promises to help you reduce belly bloat, get rid of harmful toxins and improves your digestion without the use of harsh laxatives or chemicals.

Developed by the fitness guru, Michaels recommends using this seven-day detox and cleanse product as a pre-dieting regimen in order to prepare your body for real weight loss.

The supplement also comes with a seven-day supply of probiotics which help to replace your intestinal tract with any good bacteria that may have been eliminated during the cleanse.

PROPRO
  • May temporarily improve digestion
  • Jillian Michaels is a respected name in weight loss
  • May experience minimal, temporary weight loss

CONCON
  • Weight loss is not actual fat loss
  • May cause tummy troubles
  • Research is scant that shows the proven effectiveness of detox and cleanses
  • May result in extreme water and electrolyte loss
  • Goes against much of Jillian Michaels' diet guidance and philosophy on how to lose weight
INGREDIENTSINGREDIENTS

The product contains Irish moss powder, ginger, dandelion root, buckthorn powder, garlic, butternut, uva ursi, yarrow, Chinese rhubarb, wild blueberry, grape, raspberry, cranberry, plump, tart cherry, wild bilberry, strawberry, lactobacillus sporogenes, fenugreek, fennel seed, and galactomannan.

ADMINISTRATIONADMINISTRATION

Two capsules are taken in the morning and two capsules are taken in the evening, both with a full glass of water.

DIET and EXERCISEDIET and EXERCISE

There are no accompanying diet or exercise guidelines to follow while using this product.

However, if you are looking for a more balanced, well-rounded approach to diet and fitness, try the Jillian Michaels plan online.

CONCLUSIONCONCLUSION

Jillian Michaels' Detox & Cleanse is a seven-day detox regimen that promises to help you get rid of belly bloat while flushing out harmful toxins.

Since cleanses and detox diets seem to go against much of what this famous Biggest Loser trainer advocates, her newest line of meal replacement supplements may leave her fan base confused about what constitutes a healthy lifestyle program.

Nevertheless, if you are a fan of Jillian's and trust her expertise, do still make sure to run her detox and cleanse product by your doctor first before purchasing it.

Has anyone else out there been GAINING weight while doing the detox and cleanse?? I am on day 5, and I've gained almost 8 pounds!!! I am a runner, exercising 5-6 days a week, and I eat well. Not sure what the hell is going on with my body, but just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar...

This product looks like a scam. Dr. Paula Braile-Hamilton MD outlined a good, inexpensive detox regiment in her 2002 book "the body restoration plan". Just avoid the amino acid supplements.

My husband and I started the detox and cleanse at the same time. We eat the same foods yet he has had no trouble going to the bathroom and I am feeling constipated. We both have been workingout 30 min a day and drinking plenty of water. I am curious as to why my body is reacting different to this!

In addition, for those who experienced queasiness or nausea, the box DOES give warning. Stop blaming the product for your lack of proper judgment and failure to thoroughly inspect a product.

This is my second time on the Jillian Michaels Detox and Cleanse. Clearly, I'm using it a second time because it does work. All the people saying "I didn't lose weight," "It's a waste of money," "I had horrible gas and headaches," You people clearly didn't read about the product or even read the box. The Detox and Cleanse isn't a weight loss supplement. It's a DETOX AND CLEANSE. Not everyone loses weight during detox, and if they do, it's because your body has been flushed of toxins that contribute to bloat, water retention, and certain chemicals in your body that contribute to the storage of fat. The Detox and Cleanse isn't for the purpose of weight loss. It doesn't come with an eating and exercise plan because it's not a weight loss supplement, but the box does say to "Use in conjunction with any sensible diet and exercise program," Meaning you should be eating healthy, fresh, clean and smart, with moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes a day.

The reason you people bitching and moaning about "not getting your money's worth," You got your moneys worth. The headaches, gas, etc are a result of the waste you had in your body. Detox works differently for everyone. Some people feel incredible, while others feel horrible. You shouldn't expect to lose weight during Detox, but if you do, then great. If you don't, be happy, because now you have a fresh, clean start and a detoxed body that will make it easier for you to start your weight loss program.

I'm detoxing because of a recent weekend of horrible eating and minimal exercise and I don't like that I've been bloated with sore muscles. After my first dose this morning, I felt normal. I took a light nap for about 45 mins, and ended up feeling very refreshed and noticed my bloating and swelling had gone down. Jillians products DO work when you use them according to the directions and a proper eating and exercise routine.

I'd recommend all her products to anyone although they are not for everyone.

Contrary to what most people are saying I found that this product worked. Within a half an hour of my first dose, there was significant action. I experienced no cramping or discomfort, but just an urge to urinate and pass stool more often. You should drink a lot of water while taking this since it will help with the flushing. I would recommend this product to a friend, and I would also take this again as a part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I am impressed! I started today and have already been to the bathroom within a few hours of taking my first set of pills. I can't wait to see what all it can do for me!!

I am on day 7 of the detox. I absolutely LOVE IT!!! I suffer from Interstitial Cystitis which also causes constipation. I am always feeling bloated and like I'm carrying a water baloon in my abdomen. THIS HAS MADE ME FEEL AMAZING!! I measured myself and my stomach is down 1 inch just from losing bloat !1 ( NOT FAT) I am doing her 30 day shred and eating 1200 calories a day as well. I'm down 3lbs since day one. ( Yes I realize some of it is bloat/water weight) About to start the 'burn' part. Hopefully it will go well.

Day 4. First day, had "rumblings" and had to go to the bathroom once. Nothing until 1:30am(!!) Thurs morning then I couldn't stop until 4:30. Nothing again until once at 2:00am this morning. I feel more bloated but going to try the full 7 days - why I don't know but guess keep hoping I'll notice something!

Day three and nothing...I really was looking forward to a good cleanse and this isn't working. What a joke!

Bought the detox and clense for just that detox and clense. I am only on day 2 but don't feel like I am getting clensed yet. What day does that really start? I was really attracted to the point of detox and clense naturally without harsh chemicals. I really wanted to clean everything out but don't think that is happening yet. What am I doing wrong? More water?

I bought and was super excited. Nothing happened and I mean nothing. I followed all rules to a T and nothing. I was super bummed out. Feels like I just threw money away. Believe it or not I was constipated! i expected to be needing the restroom. So I gained a pound with diet and exercise. Now I am just trying to take tons of fiber and water...hope it works!

Before taking this product I had read all the feedback... so I decided to only take 1 pill instead of 2 the first week and I lost 5lbs with no side effects at all!! I also drank lots of water!!! I would do it again!!

never tried it but don't like it. don't know why she would go into this area. read her "making the cut" book and she doesn't like the detox cleanse programs yet she's entered into that market. i was talked out of doing a cleanse and it was the best talk i ever had. i'm glad i didn't have to suffer through the headaches and all that stuff.

I started out with this product and I hated it. It did nothing for me if anything I was irregular. So I stopped. I am now doing your shred 20 in 30 days and I love that. It has helped out a lot. I'm still looking for something that will help boost my metabolism a little bit.

I am 20 years old, 5'4 and 140 lbs. I am starting this today not to loose weight, but for the actual detox and cleanse part. If you want to loose weight, eat right and excersize. Don't depend on pills to do it for you, that's not right. You should all know better. This product promotes detox, not weight loss. The only weight you loose while taking this is your water weight. Don't get upset with products because you're too lazy to do the footwork!!

I did the whole 7 days so far and didn't notice anything until day 7. I am still feeling the effects on day 8 (going to the bathroom lots).

In the beginning I felt like crap, really tired and cloudy head with headaches which I guess is all the toxins coming out.

At the end, there was absolutely no weight loss, I did not "feel lighter" and I was not "less bloated" as the packaging described.

I've done other cleanses in the past and this is my least favorite one.
