Jillian Michaels Online and My Trainer Bob were both designed to make their sage and result-friendly expertise accessible to anyone interested in losing weight and getting healthier – no blue or black T-shirts needed.

Nutrisystem Week 8

I hope everyone had a cooler week. It has been a trying month for me with moving and a lot of other changes. One thing I changed was my address with the post office. Not knowing that Nutrisystem ships with UPS. Thus, my box of food did not get forwarded to me this month. I have not been able to check my mail to find that it was delivered via UPS. So I will go in search of my box of food tomorrow. But with that said I have been able to lose a couple pounds this month just eating regular food.  That gives me hope that when this trial period is over I will be able to maintain and even lose the weight that I still need to lose.

I have had to pick up my exercises in the evenings now because it is not so hot at work. That was a bit frustrating, for when I get home I am still just as tired but I am trudging through and making it fun.  It is so important to maintain your exercises while watching what you eat. (more…)

Nutrisystem Week 7

Hope your week has been as wonderful as mine.  Had a birthday this week and finally got most of the new place unpacked. And got to spend time with my two daughters, two granddaughters, my mother and my great son-in-law. That is all I need for a birthday. My daughter made a wonderful dinner for me of salmon, asparagus, and roasted sweet potatoes. I love that with the Nutrisystem meal plan we are not strapped to our micro dinners all the time, that we can step out and eat regular foods and still stay in the realm of the plan. Working Out as Important as Meals with Nutrisystem Meal Plan

Nutrisystem Week 6

Hope you all had a great week, because I sure did. The scale is moving, the body is changing, and the weather has cooled off. That is a trifecta if I ever saw one.

I work in a warehouse where it’s typically very hot, which means I get a pretty generous workout during my work day. Since it is cooling off, that means my “at work” workout is not going to get me as far. I’m still walking 8-10 miles every day (per my pedometer) but in cooler conditions, so I will have to start my regular workouts on the Wii again, like the Wii Sports boxing that is a lot of fun… and a huge workout! Nutrisystem Week 5

Hi everyone! I Hope your week has been a good one. With the heat all around the country I hope you are all staying well hydrated. Not sure how? Check out How to Stay Hydrated in the Summer.

I had a few challenges this week because I moved over the weekend. So with that you have the packing, loading, unloading and unpacking, arranging all the rooms the way you want them, and you get too tired and don’t eat when you should. This was the problem for me this week. I am still unpacking but I have started paying more attention to what I’m doing.

It is so easy to fall back into the habits of running down the street to grab something that is made than to get the micowave ready and find the box with my meals in it. While also trying to decide what sounds good, when nothing does. As a result, no weight loss this week – but also no weight gain either. (more…)

Nutrisystem Week 4

Hi everyone! This week I was over at the Nutrisystem Facebook page and was reading all the comments. I ran across this one girl who is having a bit of the same problem as I am. I can see and feel dramatic changes in the way I feel and the way my body looks. Clothes are fitting differently, I have more energy, and there’s just an overall change I see when looking in the mirror. But the downside to this is the weight is not really matching up with the changes. This morning I weighed in at 166 pounds (down from 175 pounds, -9 pounds, in four weeks); so the weight is going, but I figured the weight would catch up with the reflection I am seeing in the mirror. I am just so excited about this program! It is really giving me the jump-start on reaching my goal in a healthy and great tasting meal plan.

Speaking of great tasting… I have now been on the Nutrisystem meal plan for four weeks and would like to review the best and worst meals. My favorite meals so far have been the lunch items: (more…)

Nutrisystem Week 3

Hi everyone…  Hope your week has been a good one. I am still trying all the different choices that Nutrisystem has provided for me, and still I am able to say that most of the meals have been very good. There are a couple that I could not eat, but it is a very good percentage of meals that taste great. The crispy rice cereal was very pasty tasting, and I am not a big Chinese food eater, but decided to try the orange chicken with rice and veggies… I just could not do it.  I am sure that someone that likes orange chicken would have loved it.  It looked really good, but didn’t suit me. An Honest Look at the Nutrisystem Meal Plan

Hi everyone…  Everything is going well with my Nutrisystem meal plan. I am going to go over a couple of the dinners and the snacks this week.

The Italian meals… pizza, lasagna and rotini with meatballs… were all really good. I had the chicken with Alfredo sauce last night and that was really tasty. The meals are not very big like the breakfast and lunch items, but eaten with the salad and fresh veggies that are recommended your meal is very satisfying.

I have had a couple problems with the flavor of a few things. The hamburger was not very appetizing and really the meatloaf was about the same. The hamburger comes very dehydrated and to cook it you add hot water. But every time you touch the burger (even getting it out of the package) it just crumbled into a quite a few pieces. It was really difficult to eat. The meatloaf was kinda hard and didn’t really have much flavor. But the potatoes that came with it were really good. (more…)
