VIRAMAX FOR WOMEN INGREDIENTS AND SIDE EFFECTS

Ingredients:

Catuaba Bark Muira Puama Root Maca Root Extract Chasteberry Mexican Yam
Avena Sativa Non-GMO Soy Bean Concentrate DopaBean Gelatin Capsule Cellulose
Magnesium Stearate Maltodextrin Acacia

Maca Root Extract: A potent and often used aphrodisiac which is actually a vegetable native to Peru. It can help improve libido, energy, and overall wellness. Species of this exist especially for women or men.

Catuaba Bark: A bark extract native to Brazil which was used by indigenous tribes as a way to help increase overall strength. This is used in modern times to help stimulate the nervous system and to act as an aphrodisiac. It’s often added to libido enhancing supplements due to its potential benefits.

Chasteberry: A shrub used for many purposes including supporting urine flow and for preventing inflammation. This has also been used to help reduce sexual desire, and this is why it was once used by monks to help them retain celibacy.

This also has a historical use as a way to help reduce PMS symptoms and to treat menopause issues.

It’s unknown why an ingredient used to reduce libido is added to a sexual enhancement supplement. Some side effects that can result from regular use include:

  • Nausea, weight gain, and upset stomach.
  • Change in menstrual flow, difficulty sleeping, and acne.

Effective and natural supplements for the improvement of female libido are available; view our top 10 list to find out more.

Mexican Yam: A unique species of yam known in Mexico as Jicama, a kind of food used as both a fruit and general side dish. It is unique in that it does not require any harsh pesticides in order for it to grow.

It will often be used to help create natural steroids in the body whenever it is specially processed but on its own, it’s highly unlikely to have any similar effects.

Less often used than wild yam, it is meant to deliver the same benefits by reducing menstrual pain and cramps, and supporting women during menopause.

Non-GMO Soybean Concentrate: This extract of soy has the carbohydrates removed and fat taken out while retaining the isoflavones and fiber. This is processed to make it easy to absorb, and it is often used in baked goods and cereal.

This particular version is not sourced from genetically modified organisms, and it is used as a safer alternative to GMO crops.

DopaBean: A patented version of Mucuna pruriens, a plant that offers a natural source of L-Dopa. This is used typically as a nootropic which can enhance mood, reduce stress, increase motivation, and support healthy libido in both genders.

It’s not well documented exactly what this patented version has over a standard form of Mucuna pruriens. It does appear that it is made by the same company responsible for ViraMax however.

VIRAMAX FOR WOMEN QUALITY OF INGREDIENTS

With an array of ingredients used there is the potential to help increase libido for women. The problem is that there are also some ingredients in this which can potentially lead to side effects.

There is also the odd use of chasteberry which can lead to a reduction of libido. They also use Mexican yam, an understudied wild yam extract, and soybean extract which are also questionable. Soybean can potentially cause thyroid related issues and a loss of nutrients when overused.

EDITOR’S TIP: Combine this supplement with a proven female libido enhancer such as Libitrinex for better results.

THE PRICE AND QUALITY OF VIRAMAX FOR WOMEN

Prices can vary depending on the specific website chosen, and the official website does not offer direct sales, only a map of local retailers.

Amazon.com sells a 60 capsule bottle or month long supply for $13.27. It’s unknown if this is a consistent price or if it fluctuates.

For the kinds of ingredients used this is about what you would expect in terms of pricing.  The 8 active ingredients vary in terms of how they function and whether or not they’re any good. Muira puama, maca, and macuna pruriens can be good at helping support women’s sexual health if added in a sufficient amount.

The real questionable additives are the Mexican yam, chaste berry, and soy bean concentrate, which can potentially cause side effects if not regulated.

BUSINESS OF VIRAMAX FOR WOMEN

Their official company name is Nutraceutical Corporation and to contact them the following are offered:

Phone Number: (435) 655-6000

Address: 1400 Kearns Boulevard

Park City, UT 84060

Email: [email protected]

No direct sales are offered on the official website which means they also do not offer a money back return policy.

They have a D rating with the Better Business Bureau and their Solaray brand which ViraMax is a part of was outed by the FDA for having elevated levels of lead. Ingesting lead can be very harmful, causing reproductive harm, DNA, damage, and an increased risk for cancer.

The complaints on their Better Business Bureau page ranged from unwanted withdrawals of money, lack of a refund, and other service related issues.

For unknown reasons the official website does not mention ViraMax for women, though they do make it. They do show that they are responsible for the Solaray brand and that it is made especially with wholesome ingredients, yet they do not cite this brand. Typically supplement companies who do not offer any e-commerce activity will at the very least highlight their brand and give an explanation as to how it’s meant to work.

No testimonials or explanation as to what is possible is offered from the manufacturers however, which is very odd and not common.

CUSTOMER OPINIONS OF VIRAMAX FOR WOMEN

Very few reviews are available online but here’s what we gathered this far:

“Made me feel youthful and kept me feeling young”

“I think it works for me”

“This works when you couple it with diet and exercise. Made me feel improved”

“Just what I was hoping for”

There wasn’t much of a description given by the majority of users so it’s impossible to know for certain what the specifics were, but generally there were positive reviews. The few consumers who left a review said they got what they wanted.

Since there were only 6 reviews available online, it’s not known for certain if this is a wide enough pool to make it a likely outcome. Some of the ingredients can potentially be harmful overtime, and it’s unknown if long-term supplementation comes with any potential risk. The information is far too limited and there are insufficient reviews available, and there aren’t any testimonials.

CONCLUSION – DOES VIRAMAX FOR WOMEN WORK?

This brand has both good and bad going for it. The low cost is a plus and though there we only a handful of reviews, many had good things to say about it. The issue comes from the use of ingredients like soybean, Mexican yam, and the unnecessary chasteberry. This last ingredient in particular can have the opposite effect and it can reduce libido. It’s especially troubling since they add a total of 100 mg per serving. The company has also had quality control issues and some consumers have said they did not offer a return, nor did they ask before deducting money from certain customer’s credit cards.

With many brands examined, we favored Libitrinex above the rest for the amount of positive reviews, strong dosage formula, and clinically reviewed ingredients. Consumers said that they had a surge of energy, improved mood, and they were able to see an improvement of libido.

There are resoundingly positive testimonials on the official website from satisfied customers who experienced improvements in their sexual health. For our exclusive review on Libitrinex where we break down what’s inside of it and what consumers had to say, click on this link.
