The Nitrovit website appears to be very transparent, documenting clinical trials and listing the many ways in which this product works to enhance brain function. We did, however, need to search for a product label to get a look at the official formula. Here it is:
|Alpha Lipoic Acid||NALT||Caffeine||Huperzine A|
|Mucuna Pruriens||Bacopa Monnieri||L-Carnitine||Noopept|
Alpha Lipoic Acid: An antioxidant found naturally in the body, this ingredient is often used to treat nerve damage caused by diabetes or cancer treatment. These some evidence suggesting this product may be useful in preventing the symptoms of dementia from showing up.
Huperzine A: A substance derived from the purified extract of Chinese club moss, Huperzine A is used to counteract the effects aging has on the brain, and may be useful in reducing and preventing Alzheimer’s disease symptoms, as well as helping users feel more alert and energized and able to more easily recall memories.
NALT: A acetylated form of the amino acid, L-tyrosine, NALT helps the body produce noradrenaline and dopamine. It’s useful in enhancing cognitive abilities in sleep deprived users. It may also reduce stress and improve memory.
Caffeine: A chemical present in tea, coffee and energy drinks, caffeine is widely used to help people stay alert and awake, treat headaches and ADHD.
Mucuna Pruriens: A bean-like plant from the tropics, mucuna pruriens is used to treat anxiety, Parkinson’s disease and joint and muscle pain. Mucuna pruriens contains a chemical called levodopa, often used to treat Parkinson’s disease, as this chemical changes to dopamine in the brain.
Bacopa Monnieri: A plant used in traditional Indian medicine, bacopa is used for improving memory and fighting stress, as well as treating Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety and ADHD.
Acetyl L-Carnitine: An amino acid produced naturally within the body, L-carnitine is essential for maintaining healthy brain function and helps provide the body with energy.
Noopept: A strong nootropic known to boost cognition, memory and learning with use. It may also have neuroprotective properties, preventing brain cells from becoming damaged.
Centrophenoxine: A nootropic ingredient long used to treat Alzheimer’s disease and boost memory. It may also have effects as a mood booster and help with motivation.
Phosphatidylserine: A chemical derived from cow brains or from cabbage or soy, this ingredient is used for Alzheimer’s disease, improved thinking skills and to treat depression, ADHD and stress.
Choline: Used for liver disease, depression and memory loss, choline is involved in many of the body’s functions, particularly those concerning the nervous system.
Many of the ingredients associated with Nitrovit do come with some risk of side effect. Though most of these ingredients are likely well tolerated by most people, the fact that certain components of this formula may cause racing heartbeats and other adverse effects means it’s wise to speak to a doctor before you add this into your routine.
Nitrovit can be found for sale on the Nitrovit website. A single bottle containing a one-month supply retails for $58.97, while a quarter pack (three months’ worth) sells for $124.97. The six-month “family pack” sells for $229.97, offering a 45% discount.
Additionally, there are other packages for sale that include other products in their line NitroAmp, NitroDrive, and NitroPept.
This product is not available through any additional websites like Amazon, CVS, GNC or other major supplement sellers. While it seems as though this product is only available through the official webpage, it looks like they sell this wholesale, so there’s a chance it could soon be available elsewhere.
Nitrovit is made by a company known as Neuro Laboratories, and their contact information is listed below:
For whatever reason, Neuro Laboratories has only provided an email and no address or phone number. We were unable to find any information about this company outside of the official Nitrovit website.
Despite the lack of company information, the website puts forth a professional image and has a clear pricing structure in place for its many different package options for this product, as well as other in the Nitro line.
Additionally, we liked that the site featured an easy-to-read ingredient page, detailing the contents of the formula, as well as what users can expect as far as benefits go.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any scientific studies listed on the site, and as a result it’s hard to get a sense of how this product functions in real life.
There weren’t too many reviews available for Nitrovit as this product is not available on sites that gives users a review platform like GNC or Amazon. Here’s a look at what users had to say:
“This product does help me get more done, kind of puts you in a good, really productive zone.”
“It works alright. I feel a little over-caffeinated or something when I take this, but it’s overall helpful in certain situations. Not for every day.”
Unfortunately, there just aren’t enough consumer accounts to suggest if this is effective or not in helping the brain boost focus and mental energy. Nitrovit may well be an effective solution, but it’s too hard to make a recommendation based on a few vague comments.
Overall, we appreciate the level of detail provided on the Nitrovit website, but it’s hard to recommend a product that simply doesn’t have much in terms of recorded user experiences.
Sure, there were a couple people that mentioned this product helped them get work done in an efficient manner, but there’s just not a large enough sample size to determine whether this is the norm.
The website was relatively well-designed and featured a lot of good information about the product and the ingredients included in the formula. They’ve provided info about how this product works and a clear pricing structure.
Some users may not appreciate the addition of caffeine into the blend, while others may like the extra energy it provides. Either way, it’s something users should be aware of before they make a buying decision, especially when combined with the other ingredients included in this blend.
