What is it?

Neuro Elite is an anti-aging nootropic supplement that is designed to help people retain their mental abilities as they age. It is also intended to be a short-term brain power booster that they say is useful for studying for tests, elevating work performance, or completing creative projects.

It is also designed to give its users energy without making them edgy or irritable. They say it helps with motivation, confidence, and overall subjective well-being.

The nootropic agent that has gotten the best results from its users is Memotenz. It is the supplement that has shown the biggest leap in user performance before and after. Click here to see how Memotenz compares to the other top nootropics on the market today.

Neuro Elite Ingredients and Side Effects

Neuro Elite only highlights certain ingredients in their promotional materials, they do not make their full nutritional panel public. This is not usually a positive sign for a supplement.

Instead of the complete list of all of Neuro Elite’s contents, with dosage amounts, what they instead publish is an incomplete list of several specific ingredients. This includes the following:

Cognizin Caffeine Anhydrous L-Theanine

Cognizin: A branded form of the neurotransmitter citicoline. Citicoline is used by the brain for cell signaling, as well as for cleaning and neural protection.

It is possible that citicoline can affect the sensitivity of dopamine receptors, enhancing the effects of the reward chemical. It has not been shown that citicoline leads directly to improved thinking or problem solving abilities, or any sort of measurable “boosting” effect.

The people that will see the most nootropic benefit from taking Cognizin are those individuals that have a preexisting choline deficiency. For those people, there should be a marked increase in mental performance.

Some citicoline is necessary for proper brain function, however there is not a correlation with escalating quantity and improved performance. Most people get enough citicoline in their diet from dishes like red meat and organ tissue, however vegans and vegetarians may need to seek outside supplementation.

Caffeine Anhydrous: The dehydrated form of the common stimulant. Caffeine is the most popular central nervous system (CNS) accelerant in the world, and it is used in thousands of different food, beverage, exercise, and personal care products of all sorts.

Caffeine is not technically a nootropic agent, however it does appear often in lower-quality supplements anyway. The reason is that caffeine has an immediate and noticeable effect on the user, which makes them more likely to believe that the product is working.

The main issue with this is that while caffeine can often make it feel like a supplement is working, it may not actually be all that helpful in terms of performance. The issue is that caffeine’s only real proven function is overcoming fatigue.

In tired people attention span, thinking speed, and problem solving abilities plummet, and caffeine can be extremely helpful for getting those levels back to normal. The issue is that when people are not fatigued, caffeine can have almost the opposite effect.

The recommended daily limit for caffeine is actually much lower than most people would guess. Once that threshold is crossed people actually tend to start losing focus more easily, their attention span shrinks, and they can lose energy to the point where they feel lower than when they began.

Caffeine is chemically addictive and can easily become habit forming when taken every day. It also becomes progressively less effective as users build up a tolerance to it, which can happen rather rapidly.

This is largely a problem due to how easy it is to take too much caffeine and the way that it can affect the body in large quantities. Side effects that can potentially result from caffeine consumption include:

  • Acrid breath and body odor
  • Sweating and shaking
  • Diarrhea
  • Excess urination
  • Heart and blood pressure issues

L-Theanine: A nonessential amino acid most commonly encountered in green tea. L-Theanine is known for its anti-anxiety properties and may have some benefits for cardiovascular health as well.

L-Theanine is occasionally paired with supplements like caffeine because it is thought to be able to “take the edge off” and moderate some of the anxiety and irritation that can so often accompany those stimulants.

It does not have any applications itself for memory function or thinking speed, though it is possible it could be useful for attention span and alertness.

L-Theanine is not as well researched as some other amino acids, however it is thought to be safe for most users. There are no documented side effects to L-Theanine in either the short or the long-term.

Neuro Elite Quality of Ingredients

It is against our team’s policy to recommend any product that will not disclose its ingredients. Beyond the fact that it is impossible to tell if a product is effective or even safe for any given user, when a product does not disclose their contents it is usually a sign that they do not have faith in the quality of their own product.

Publishing nutrition panels makes it easy for users to double check ingredients online, compare them to other products, and in general make an informed choice about the product that is right for them. Often a product not publishing their contents is a sign that it they do not feel they would be able to stand up to those comparisons.

Beyond this, the ingredients that they do disclose do not make it seem likely that it will be effective. There are very few reputable nootropic ingredients and too many filler and low-quality additives. Our team does not recommend any product that uses caffeine as a daily nootropic supplement.

The Price and Quality of Neuro Elite

Neuro Elite does not have a straightforward pricing structure. They have one option for acquiring their product, which is to sign up for their “Free Trial Offer” which is misleadingly titled.

The offer is never free, in that users at least have to pay shipping and handling, however they are also signed up for an automatic payment program that charges their credit cards $84.71 per month without any form of notification to the user.

Many customers have not realized what they were signing up for and have been charged multiple times before they were able to cancel the program.

Customer Opinions of Neuro Elite

Neuro Elite has been attacked by previous customers for a wide variety of reasons, most notably for the “Free Trial Offer.” Other complaints center on the product itself, and feature critiques such as these:

“Made me feel like I was the Tasmanian Devil for an hour or two, whirling away and accomplishing nothing, and then a fogged-out dummy for the rest of the day after that.”

“I tried using this stuff to study for my finals, but all it ended up doing was making me have really bad diarrhea all night, then flunk my tests the next day.”

“THE INSIDE OF MY HEAD IS ON FIRE AND I HATE IT! NEVER TAKE THIS DEMON PILL!!!!!”

These were typical responses from past consumers, especially the pattern of experiencing an early rush due to the caffeine, followed by an immediate crash. Numerous unpleasant side effects were also reported.

Conclusion – Does Neuro Elite Work?

Neuro Elite falls into all of the patterns of an unreliable supplement. They refuse to disclose their contents, they try to get their users to pay excessive amounts for their products, and when people do use them their experiences are unpleasant and ineffective.

Our team does not suggest any caffeine-based nootropic products to our users. Caffeine should be used deliberately to overcome fatigue, not as part of a daily nutritional regimen.

Users also should never take any product that does not disclose its ingredients for a number of reasons, including their own safety. For all of these reasons, it is impossible to suggest that our readers consider trying Neuro Elite.

The nootropic that they do recommend to our audience is Memotenz. It is the single supplement that has received the highest marks in their ongoing series of supplement reviews.

Memotenz is well regarded for its ingredients blend, which is caffeine free and relies on proven effective additives like ginkgo biloba and bacopa monnieri. Click here to see the nutritional information panel for Memotenz.

Neuro-Elite is part of a scam which starts with a Woolworths or Coles discount voucher text on your phone. Then after a small survey they say you’ve been given a free gift, you just have to pay for postage at $4.95. Once they have your credit card details they start charging monthly. By the time you realise its had three charges of over $100 AUD and when you try to cancel and return the product the number sent has an answer machine that says the mailbox is full. If you get onto support Neuro-elite landing page only, they state you can’t send the product back without an RMA even though there is a Las Vegas address, but there is no-one to talk to or get an RMA from. I called USA yesterday the girl kept trying to leave the phone then made excuses she couldn’t hear me and would call me back, that didn’t happen. DEVIL COMPANY< DISGUSTING RIP OFF

This is a scam. They advertise a free trial and charge you postage fee. Then add you to a monthly subscription without sending anything.

All the above comments are true and correct because they happened to me. I ask somebody to investigate using my bank complaints. Got my money back with constant monitoring. Lots of scams nowadays.
