What is it?

Plexaderm is a line of skin care products designed to instantly reduce the visible signs of aging.  The line includes a Rapid Reduction Cream for an instant reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and 100% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer to deeply hydrate and restore elasticity to the skin.

The treatment is formulated to tighten skin immediately upon application to create a firming and lifting effect without invasive injections or surgery.  Light-diffusing ingredients are also included to lend a radiant glow.

Our review experts have researched and tested many different anti-aging skin treatments, and have named Kremotex as the best option.  All-natural and made with apple stem cells, shea butter, and other natural ingredients at the forefront of anti-aging science, users are praising its immediate and dramatic results.

Plexaderm Ingredients and Side Effects

Ingredients in Plexaderm include:

Sodium Silicate Magnesium Aluminum Silicate CI 77489 (Iron Oxide)
Hyaluronic Acid Phenoxyethanol Ethylhexylglycerin

Sodium Silicate: An inorganic salt used in skin care products to control pH balance and protect from corrosion in metallic packaging. It is generally considered safe, but has been known to cause allergies and skin irritation.

Magnesium Aluminum Silicate: A natural mineral refined from clay used as a thickening agent in skin care products.  It is generally considered safe in very small amounts, but the aluminum compounds can be neurotoxic.

CI 77489 (Iron Oxide): Inorganic chemicals used in skin care products as colorants and substances to create reflective effects.  Iron oxides are potentially toxic and can enhance absorption of other harmful ingredients in the formula.

Hyaluronic Acid: A natural glycosaminoglycan with exceptional skin moisturizing and healing abilities.  It fills gaps between collagen and elastin, replaces lost moisture, and hydrates the skin.

Phenoxyethanol: A germicide and preservative used in cosmetics and skin care products.  This aromatic alcohol is sometimes used as a fragrance, and can cause irritation.

Ethylhexylglycerin: A natural preservative, also used as a deodorizing agent and skin conditioner.  It is generally considered safe, but it has been known to cause irritation and contact dermatitis in some individuals.

Plexaderm Quality of Ingredients

Plexaderm lists all its ingredients on the website, which is helpful for those with allergies or sensitive skin, or simply those who are interested in the ingredients they apply to their skin.

The active ingredients are proven for their ability to reduce the visible signs of aging, as well as vitamins with antioxidative and hydrating properties to replenish moisture and protect skin from sun damage.

There are concerns, however, about some ingredients found in Plexaderm.

The silicates responsible for the light-diffusing optic effects can be harsh and abrasive to some skin types.  Aluminum Silicate is especially worrying, as it also contains aluminum compounds, which can be neurotoxic.  Sodium Silicate can also cause skin irritation and contact dermatitis.

Inactive ingredients include the preservative, Phenoxyethanol, which is also used as a fragrance and has been known to irritate skin.

Ethylhexylglycerin can, like other synthetic silicone-based substance, dry skin over time.  Synthetic humectants are unable to attract moisture like natural humectants do, so they don’t hydrate to the deeper layers.  It will moisturize instantly, but over time it can lead to drier skin.

Plexaderm claims it is ideal for all skin types, but not all skin types react the same way to certain ingredients.  Before using this or any skin care product, one should always check with a specialist to discuss the possible risks associated with your skin care regimen.

The Price and Quality of Plexaderm

Plexaderm is priced at $79.90 for a 1-ounce bottle of Rapid Reduction Cream plus $6.95 shipping when individually purchased outright.  There are several different packages available for bulk savings, and the prices are clearly listed on the website.

The products are fairly expensive compared to similar products, but they could be a decent value if desired results are achieved.

There are, however, no credible clinical trials available, and there is very limited information provided about how the formula works.  The moisturizer contains Hyaluronic Acid, a powerful emollient and humectant, but there are no state-of-the-art anti-aging peptides that might have enhanced the effects and justified the high cost.

There are also some harsh preservatives that are known to irritate skin and cause allergic contact dermatitis.  The main active ingredients in the Rapid Reduction Cream, which are metal compounds, are also highly sensitizing.

With so many harsh ingredients, it is difficult to say customers are getting full value when the ingredients can potentially cause more harm than good.

There are no complaints to be found about the company on the Better Business Bureau website and similar consumer protection websites.

Most customer reviews are positive, though both the company and product are relatively new to the skin care industry, so they have not built a name for themselves.  This can be both good and bad.  A lack of positive customer reviews suggests the product is not worthy of comment.

On the other hand, however, a lack of negative reviews means that customers are mostly satisfied, as those with negative experiences are most likely to speak out about them.

Several customers have commented on the frustration of their automatic replenishment services.  While the terms are clearly noted on the order page, it is easy to miss them.  Customers are able to purchase products once, but if they purchase in bulk, they are automatically enrolled into the replenishment service, and many customers do not realize this until they are billed.

The biggest downside to the company and brand website, however, is the lack of information about the science behind their products.  There are clinical trials provided, but the results are somewhat dubious because they were not performed by a third-party lab.

The clinical results were performed by the company. This is not to suggest there is any bias involved, but it should be considered.

Customer Opinions of Plexaderm

Not all skin care products perform the same for all skin, so unless you try Plexaderm for yourself, you won’t know how the products work with your individual skin type.

Fortunately, there are some online reviews available, allowing consumers to make informed decisions.  Reviews are generally positive, but there are several neutral reviews that indicated the products did not provide the results they were hoping for.

“I like the instant effects of the Reduction Cream, but they unfortunately go away as soon as I wash my face.  The moisturizer hydrates well, but for the price, not so much.”

“It’s not a great product, but it does come in handy for special occasions.  If they could just make something that performed as well in the long term I would be sold.”

“My skin reacted badly to the ingredients in the cream.  I didn’t think I had any allergies, but I might be allergic to aluminum or iron oxide.”

“It’s snake oil.  I did not see any difference, immediate or long-lasting.  For the price I paid, it should have at least come with SPF protection.”

The effectiveness of any skin care product depends on individual skin type, allergies, proper application, and many other contributing factors. It is important to be aware of this when researching skin care products based on customer reviews.

Conclusion – Does Plexaderm Work?

Plexaderm is a two-step anti-wrinkle treatment designed to provide instant anti-aging effects while also treating the underlying causes of premature aging.  It contains silicates to immediately tighten skin and smooth away lines and wrinkles, as well as aluminum and iron compounds for their shimmery, light-diffusing effects.

The instant effects, however, are temporary, and the formula contains several harsh irritants, including some of the active ingredients.  It is also lacking powerful peptides and antioxidants that might have enhanced the effects and justified the high price of the treatment.  The most concerning aspect, however, is that there is so little information provided about the formula.  It is difficult to recommend what is essentially a mystery product.

Our reviewers researched and compared many proven age-defying products and agree: Kremotex is the best overall.

Its fast-acting ingredients boost collagen production and promote cell regeneration, reversing the effects of aging and skin damage.  Many positive testimonials on their website, along with amazing before and after transformation photos show why Kremotex was voted the best anti-aging cream of 2024.

I didn’t see any results when I used the product. For the cost you would think there would be a noticeable change. Why is there only one testing “model” and why does he happen to be “male”?

Jay Dovner says:

All of these products are terrible things to apply to your face. Women, get smart, it’s still a man’s world business wise, and usually anything sold to females like makeup, started off as a man’s company. The only way to rid those bags is a procedure, and sometimes that doesn’t even work too well, depending on the person.

There is no miracle cure or appearance to do this, if there was, everyone would be using it now and most probably be outrageous in price.

Ellen says:

I used this product and it left me discolored as well as now i have bags and puffiness where there wasnt under one of my eyes. I hate that i brought this product.

missy says:

yes..is about growing old gracefully..there is no magical cure for under eye bags, ankd wrinkle, oher then surgerty..dont waste money on these products..

JE says:

He’s a producer for this commercial and not a model as stated and women are shown but only the sever aging ones..

Penny Richardson says:

I just purchased Plexaderm. The first time I used it I couldn’t believe how bad it was!! Omg it actually made my under eye wrinkles look way worst. Thinking maybe I did something wrong I re-read the instructions. I did everthing Right. Used it a few more times same thing my under eyes looked horrible!! Dry, tight & wrinkled up! I want my money back! Awful product!!

Robin Zobrist, says:

That is exactly what happened along with the look of being burned. I’m skin under my eyes was swollen and red. Be sides it doesn’t mix with make up. I had to miss work and go to the Dr. beware this is a terrible product.

Cathy says:

I had the same reaction. What did your doctor tell you to do for the reaction you had from the product?

Gera says:

The first batch of Plexaderm I bought about 2 years ago worked very well .. the product came in a syringe-like tube and whoa, it DID a fabulous trick ! I was happy with the stuff, used it sparingly b/c of the HIGH purchase price. I eventually ran out of product and ordered another batch. This one had a different name (still “Plexaderm” though) Using this 2nd batch product, I noticed the formula was thinner, felt like it was “watered down”, took 3 applications, one of top of the other, it still DID NOT WORK as well as the first batch did . hmm … I re-read the directions and was super careful to apply it correctly and did, but the results were still UNsatisfactory. I was horrified discovering ADDITIONAL lines under my eyes which Plexaderm did not remedy, but had in fact: CREATED ! . The white powdery film it left was peculiar too.. I live in FL and thought the humidity handicapped the product’s performance, but NO .. every one of all applications thereafter, same result, with NO humidity as well … bottom line: the product malfunctioned continually and I got wise, they WATERED it down ! The incredients that made the wrinkles go away was MISSING … THE WATERED IT DOWN WITH God only knows what. I was feeling iffy enough to spend another almost 70 bux for a new batch when I found this website … reading everybody’s contributions, the variety reasons stated etc etc changed my mind to purchase .. but one person who posted that egg whites would do the same “trick” is something I am going to try. THANK YOU everybody for posting, if enough people do so, this “Plexaderm” company will soon enough go belly up … BRING ON THE EGGS 🙂

Barbara says:

I purchased plexaderm and didn’t do a thing, what a waste of money and time, another tv advertisement that is a hoax….I will never fall for any of these wrinkle creams again…SCAM!

Allie says:

Try Kremotex. Worked for me, no white film and it is natural with no harsh chemicals for those with sensitive skin. Does not burn at all.

Anonymous says:

When the product was washed off the area quickly became dry and wrinkled – it added years and I was concerned with long term use so discontinued after the first try.
However, I agree for special occasions the temporary results were very good.

SUE says:

Just use EGG WHITES! Same effect, all natural. Use tiny bit as it does leave a white residue as well.

Melinda says:

On target! I’m a chemist & I know this for sure!

Mike says:

You are saying that applying egg whites on wrinkles and bags under the eyes will help a little?

thanks

Janice Shannon says:

THIS IS A HOAX! I followed the directions to a T and have found no results! In fact my eye area looks worse because of the drying effect. They must use trick photography and 18 year old models.

Penny Richardson says:

Do Not Buy!! First time I used it I couldn’t believe how bad my eyes looked!! Thought maybe I missed something in the instructions so I re-read them. Applied it again the next day & for the next few days to give it a chance. Omg everytime the same thing. My eyes looked awful!! Tight, wrinked up & Dry! Awful product. I want a refund!!

Vivian Getz says:

This product does NOT work at all as described, PLUS even with carefully following instructions
Replacing the rubber cap tightly, twisting the container closed, it CLOGGS AND “running all the warm water over the tube….Nothing!! It is stuck in the tube like cement!!!! Useless, and a few days over my 30 “free return”? Forget it; you are stuck with the expensive cost & a tube more than 1/2 full!!!!

Neal says:

I purchased one tube of Plexaderm and was initially impressed with the results, so after the first few applications, I purchased 2 more tubes. After using this product for about 40 days total, it gave me a bad rash on my skin under both eyes. I applied just a touch, and it started to itch. I rinsed it off, and the skin my eyes stayed red for the entire day. Quite embarrassing. This happened a few times before I had to stop using it. I contacted Leigh Ann Goodrich with customer service, who stated that their policy was firm. No returns after 30 days, even if the product is unopened. Nice customer service, especially when you are selling a product that gives people rashes. I do not recommend this company. Use another !!!

Sandra says:

I just ordered PLEXADERM and I can’t wait to try it. The TV commercial rated it so high. Let’s see if this work. Will upfdaye.

Anonymous says:

It might work for the first few times, but then stops working! I asked if there was any residue after applying & was told “absolutely NOT”. There is a white flaky one & in trying to remove it, also removed the product. If you don’t remain at home for awhile after using it to see the white mask around your eyes, you may be warned to look in the mirror by a stranger…….The product does not work as the many TV ads claim. I was duped again & could not get a refund.

Olive Baker says:

I have read many instructions for Plexiderm that stated:
USE ONLY a T I N Y bit on the target area. If too much is used, there will be a WHITE FLAKEY residue left on the skin! Perhaps you should try it again while adhering to the Instructions?

Lee Fyten says:

It is such a scam!!

linda lee says:

look at the chemicals in this product they are TOXIC!!!!

amy says:

Got a bubbly red rash as well and it has not gone away a month after stopping use.
Anyone know what to use to make it go away?

Bob R. says:

Today there are far more “snake oil salesmen” than ever before. Phony products are proliferating the TV airwaves and there seems to be no policing of all the scam products that TV stations knowingly allow to be advertised. The amount of monies involved in all these high priced junk items are just to tempting to stop. The limit allowed before they can be investigated is $20, so with that as a starting point, always Google any product for complaints before wasting your money. That includes everything from two for one offers, all the way to insurance of any kind and especially if it says “simply pay double shipping and handling plus a fee”.

Carole says:

I have been using PLEXADERM for under eye “puffiness” since the end of Aug. I was sooo thrilled at first, it was working..I even ordered a 6 month supply!
Moving forward..I have noticed that the “strength” of the product seems to be diminishing. I did contact the company to see what the shelf life is and they said about 18 months..it just is not as strong as the first few times I used.
Now I have noticed that where I did not have A LOT puffiness under my left eye (only the right eye area) THE PUFFINESS HAS INCREASED..I am going to check my order date and hope I can return the 6 month supply..not happy!

K. Ennis says:

I agree with a lot of these comments – it’s a temporary tightening effect; but once I put make up over the area, it goes right back to what it looked like to begin with. My puffiness comes back and my eyes look more wrinkled than before. Very disappointed – thought I may have found my secret potion, NOT.

Jillian says:

If you use a moisturizer or make up that contains oil, it may deactivate the results of Plexaderm. Try a water based moisturizer instead.

Anonymous says:

You need to use an oil free based foundation.

Mary says:

The oil free based foundation does not help. This is a horrible product. Nothing but another scam!

Denise says:

The product worked. But as soon as I put on oil free make up, the results disappeared. So then I tried without make up. Softly rubbed my eye and again the results disappeared. I was so disappointed.

Cynthia Baker says:

I am very disappointed too. I tried two different times applying Plexaderm under my eyes, and both times my under eyes were swollen and very red. I guess I’ll call and try to get my money back. Bummer!

Mary M. Saussy says:

After using Plexaderm for three days, just looked in the mirror and under both eyes is bright red, too. Guess I’ll try to get my money back, too. Might take pictures. Looks awful..

Jennifer Thymes says:

I was very excited ordered the product, received it applied it and what a let down. My eyes was swollen I immediately developed discoloration and a rash above my eyebrows. Within the hour I requested information on how to return the product and my money back. What a surprise I was told I didn’t have to return it and my money would be refunded. UM!!!

Jacqui says:

Did you receive a refund? If so, how long did it take?

Anonymous says:

Thank you!!!

lisa says:

I’m so glad read all the coments on plexaderm cuz I was just fixing to but in an order for it and the coments changed my mind its a sad world we live in now companys showeing fake tv ads and lieing about this and other products that women beleave and trust in them they hurt people just to still there money and the actiors are no anybeter cuz they know there selling a lie too that greed on both companys and actors shame on yall God will get y’all one day I would not use it if the company sent me a 100 bottles free no charge thanks to all the honest people who wrote these coments!

Jacqui says:

It is unfortunate that the mighty dollar is the generated force behind most vendors. Don’t get me wrong; it thinks it is wonderful to work at something that could be beneficial to people and be compensated for it. However, the extreme companies go through knowing full well they are taking advantage of the average population…. you said it…… GREED!!!

Jeanne says:

Thanks for your comment! I shall not ever buy the product!

Anonymous says:

Well said Lisa! It is a sad day when the mighty dollar has turned many individuals and companies toward fraudulent practices.
Thank you for your comment,
Jayne

Mandy Bartlett says:

omg, after reading these comments,i am so glad i did not order, i want something for daily use,but the best temp instant wrinkle reducer ive used, without harming the tender eye area is Kremotex,it was a gift from my sister like 2 yrs ago,i still have a lil left,i only use it for special occations, its instant, lasts a few hrs,but im searching for a daily instant- long term helper to erase my eye bags and wrinkles. not just a short term temp quick fix, thats hazardous like plexaderm. Kremotex does not cause damage or irritation as bad as plexaderm does, and works instantly.

Jeanne says:

Where can Kremotex be purchased? Is it expensive?

Joan Wirth says:

Lets face it I have done my research and there is really notging out there that is going to work except for short term effects and the diwn side is you don’t know thw long term effects of these products. Blepharoplasty surgery is what I will be going with diwn the line. Ranges from $3-4000 for both eyes. Susan Sarrandon looks so great now not that she didn’t before and she had some pretty bad bags. Thanks for the reviews. I am going to save my money and not waste my time on anymore snake oil treatments

Patti Crawford says:

Dried my skin out doesn’t even work. Don’t buy it .

Diana Lewis says:

It REALLY dries out your skin. Bag erasing is temporary, but the wrinkles left behind are permanent.

pam ryan says:

It works temporarily and by that I mean for an hour or two. Smiling or being at all expressive seem to break the spell like tapping the break or gas pedal if the car is on cruise control. I won’t return it but I won’t buy it again.Very drying which seems counterintuitive for under eye care but they never said it was a moisturizer. Caveat emptor.

Patrick Fromme says:

Don’t buy this does not work don’t waste your money

Lee Fyten says:

I can bet, like all of these creams seen lately everywhere, that this is another SCAM.
My local CBS tv station in Kansas City is actually advertising this crap!!! Channel 5- KCTV5

Iiesa says:

Thank you for the reviews.I will not buy this stuff.

Janis Guebert says:

I purchased Plexaderm online, and I was super excited to give it a try. I followed instructions and then started putting on my make up. As soon as I touched the area with my moisturizing cream, the firmness was gone. What good is this for a woman when she cannot even wear makeup over the product? Maybe this product is better for men. Very disappointed.

Brenda says:

I purchased Plexaderm recently and while the effects were not so dramatic as their advertisements, it definitely worked. I have wrinkles under my eyes, not bags and they completely disappeared. I have deep frown lines and they also disappeared. It did a good job on the fine lines above and below my lips but it did nothing for my smile lines.

Overall, I think it is a good product. It definitely makes me look younger. But don’t expect the dramatic results that you see on their web site.

Deanie says:

I found the product extremely drying, which is completely counter-productive to what you want for your eyes. If you put it on your eyes & then never use expression ie smiling, it works. But, if you smile or have any expressions, the dried lines/wrinkles are worse than having used no products. Very disappointed in this product. I’m from Canada so we also get hit with an additional charge when it clears customs. Overall, not happy with the product. And I now have a 3 month supply which cost me almost $200. Ahhh, “a fool & his money are soon parted”!!!

Nancy says:

Yes, this is what I found. I bought it for help on my under eye bags. It works, the under eye bags look firmed up and were better, but then you move the facial muscles and it ‘breaks’- so as long as you have no expressions it will look firm but who can go around w/o any smiling, or expressions! (Hold still, don’t move anything in your face….oops!) Actually lasts about 15 seconds. The dried up look that results under the eyes is worse than the bags IMHO because it emphasizes all the wrinkles enormously. Ugh.

Jim says:

Was so excited after applying, it worked! Alas, a couple of hours later it was over, and my eyes were now more wrinkled than ever. It took me 2 days of applying moisturizers to get my eyes somewhat back to normal. It looked liked a deflated balloon under my eyes and was very red and irritated, looked and felt like a chemical burn. Not realizing the downside yet, a friend came over that evening and I applied it to one of her eyes to show her the instant results. The next morning she woke up with the same thing deflated look and very irritated. Imagine just one eye! She was in a quandary…I recommended doing the other eye just so they would match. Needless to say, she wasn’t amused and not sure she’s my friend anymore. Thanks Plexaderm! Overall a very unpleasant experience and a waste of money!

Chrissy says:

While watching the evening NEWS on channel 7 in Seattle, Washington they tried to pass this as a NEWS story with real-time video on how this new cream is changing the life’s of folks one person at a time. They say, “no more expensive trips to get Botox”.
What a bunch of vultures prey on our weaknesses for monitory gain & putting our health at jeopardy! Shame on you! I thought the NEWS was supposed to be unbiased & impartial.
The Bible has been warning us that Satan is the god of this system (2 Cor 4:4) & he’s misleading the entire inhabitanted earth. (Rev. 12:9)

Jeanne says:

I like your comment! I will never buy Plexaderm!

Chrissy says:

Jeanne,
Thank you & I’m happy to hear you’ll never buy plexaderm!

Marty says:

Chrissy, why are you so stupid to even attempt to believe what you see on tv especially the news. The news are not bias and always inject their agenda as fact. The devil has nothing to do people’s stupidity whether you believe a commercial or not, if you’re gullible enough to believe what they say is purely your fault not anyone else. I really believe Satan has better things to do than trying to trick people into to buying beauty products that don’t work!

SANDRA says:

If there ever was a “SCAM”, related to removing “under the eyes puffiness,” PLEXADERM rates a MINUS “10”! Having seen this product advertised though the media (Dr. OZ Show), I had some issues, as to whether it performed as proclaimed by the company: after 5 minutes of applying the cream (on the bags) underneath the subject’s eyes, there were very “little” visible differences. After purchasing “PLEXADERM” and using it for 2(two) weeks, day and night, bags underneath my eyes” were even more pronounced.
The common warning that, RESULTS may VARY is by far an Understatement! DO NOT buy “PLEXADERM”…it’s a “HOAX”!!!

Janet says:

I m trying to contact costumer service by email and by phone to ask about the dispenser because stop working and I can get any cream but I have no results no answer to my emails and the phone to costumer service is only a music that never end and no answer to talk about the problem The product is no cheap and I would like a new one covering this broken one or defective, but is I have any luck wit Costner service About the product I notice is very strong and works but after being washed I notice wrinkles in my eyes and I think is to used once in a while for a special event. I’m very disappointed with everything and frustrated. Am I wondering if I will receive a answer for my questions

Jacqui says:

Call the line that you place an order. When then try to transfer you, tell them you will continue to call them until someone helps you. They will deal with you.

Olive Baker says:

Spell Check please? This product states it is TEMPOARY. PLEASE people, read the information and instructions attached to products. We are all looking for the ‘magic bullet’ for our specific needs and IF we read the back-up information on ANY product that is being flogged there is ALWAYS an ‘out’ – we just have to use our common sense when evaluating what we read? I too have spent hundreds of dollars and got ‘stung’ but I ALWAYS purchase with a BUYER BEWARE attitude and take my lumps when dissapointed, even though it ticks me off, especially when a product is, I think, so very expensive. One consolation is that when you think products are not found to be as advertised, IF instructions are followed, and you think priced excessively, they will not be around long. The old saying ‘cutting off your nose to spite your in face’ may apply in some instances.
I have yet to be persuaded to buy Plexiderm for some reasons: I live in Canada, Customs and money exchange rates and hastle of returning it, AND the high price (in U S dollars!) sure give me pause. But if I do buy and the product doesn’t agree with my skin or has some serious affect that we are not warned about I will take my lumps! We all should be more diligent pre-purchasing IMO?
Suppliers MUST be made to stand behind their products i.e.defective containers. By way of Better Business Bureau is an alternative for some legitimate buyers I would guess? I think If customer Service wouldn’t answer your call then they should not be in business and a complaint could be made???

Mallory says:

Olive, the active ingredient is hyaluronic acid. You can buy hyaluronic acid serum in a small 10 mL dropper bottle of it from Asia (I used Aliexpress) for under $4 (shipping included) to Canada. You only need 3 drops, so the bottle will last you many weeks. Just research how to use hyaluronic acid, like what ingredients it’s incompatible with and so forth (like oil) and what ingredients is good to mix it with and how long to wait before applying another ingredient (waiting for skin to absorb). Research skin care ingredients you should never mix. Korean glass skin beauty regiment research has lots of information on skin ingredients (don’t use the westernized version of it popularized in North America – go straight to the source).

It is much cheaper buying the pure form of these ingredients and knowing there are no preservatives or any other additives and making your own serums or just applying these ingredients separately to get maximum benefits.

Dolores Senavitis says:

I agree with everything in your comment. There is also so little product in the tube it is beyond a wrip off, it is basically robbery.

Lenise Avery says:

I was very disappointed with this product! !! It does not work for the people of color. Do not buy this product

Henriette Hall says:

Doesn’t work for people of color ? This product works for NO-ONE ! The color of their skin does not matter one bit ! Sure, I wanted my wrinkles to go away too. I did read all of your remarks and decided that I would take the money I would virtually ‘throw away’ and put it to some good. The next time I visited a local Diner, I paid for a person’s breakfast. Did not know them and they did not know their breakfast was paid for until they went to pay–I am sure it was appreciated. I know this– it made me feel better to do that rather than be angry for throwing money at a bogus product ! Thanks folks for all of your comments–it helped me make a good decision !

Art R says:

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. It does not work. In fact, it actually seems to bring out hairline wrinkles. Feels like glue when applied.

Linda Melampy says:

Doesn’t sound good. Not going to order.

Bud Clayton says:

Terrible product! It did not work for me. I broke out in a rash where it was applied on my eye bags, and it was burning. I washed it off and the bags look worse! I hope the swelling goes down and it returns to what it was before I used the product. I called customer service and they issued me a refund. Bad news, don’t buy it.

Patricia says:

DON’T WORK PLEASE Don’t BUY!!!!!

Cindy Braggs says:

My husband is African American and the product leaves a visible white/gray pasty dry look under his eyes. When we wiped it away enough to where it was no longer visible the bags came back full force.

Sonya McDaniel says:

Not please with plexaderm. Did not work for. How can I be refunded for the cost. It is very expensive.Sonya mcdaniel

Stephanie Mcbride says:

Not happy.. feel fooled… First of all the container the product comes in is very awkward and when i was trying to squeeze some of the product out it ejected half of the tube. So I am out $25 worth of product on day one. Secondly, they do not tell you that once you apply makeup over the product it undoes everything. This would be ok for men or women who do not wear makeup. Very unhappy 🙁

Lori says:

I tried it for the 30 day period only and I called them and told them I didn’t want it. They gave me a full refund without having to send the bottle back. However, the main reason I returned it is because I found out about a virtually identical product, PETER THOMAS ROTH INSTANT FIRM TEMPORARY FACE TIGHTENER, 3.4 OUNCES for 28.00 via Wal-Mart!! A friend told me about it, and so I got a sample of it from Sephora, and it is even better than Plexaderm. Feels better on the face it is dirt cheap compared to Plexaderm. Go get a sample of this other product and see for yourself. Plexiderm is a HUGELY overpriced product due to all the television marketing.

Pam says:

This did absolutely nothing. 1st Time I’ve ever responded to any of these things. Total waste of money!!

Mr. Long Dick says:

what a waste of money and time, if u got extra money send it my way, do not buy this junk.

kayla says:

i cant take your comment seriously…”Mr Long Dick”?????? Are you kidding me?

Laura Spangler says:

Used it to make my tired baggy eyes look better. It worked amazing. I understood it was a temp fix. So I was never fooled, and you use so little. To get great results. That you have the one bottle for a very long time

Guillermo casanas says:

It only work for 15 min

Claire Spaino says:

I was planning on purchasing this product PLEXADERM, after reading all the reviews, I’ve decided it’s not worth it, many complaints about it not working, costing too much, not being able to get their money back, I should know better, I’ve purchased many other products that have not worked, so I have been duped numerous times. I am fed up with the lies these companies continue to portray on their commercials, so that being said you’re not getting my $59.95 not this time. I hope people will read these comments before they try this product. When you do want to purchase something that you seen on TV or in the newspaper, or magazines, check out all the complaints from many people who have already gotten scammed.

Iglitter says:

Be very very careful with this product — it can cause more harm than good. Does it work? Yes, even better than the compelling ads suggest. I couldn’t believe how my bags disappeared right in front of my eyes. And then it was night and time to remove my makeup. This stuff STICKS to your very delicate eye-skin and it doesn’t come off easily. I didn’t rub. I used a cotton pad and eye makeup remover. Still it wouldn’t come off. By the time I got my face clean, I had red crescents under my eyes. It was like a mini-peel. And every time I smile I am infusing wrinkles into fresh skin. It’s been four days and I’m still not healed. I can’t put makeup on because the skin under my eyes is so raw. For the record, I am Caucasian, 65, female and my skin is no different or more delicate than anyone else’s.

Amparo Ucha says:

Wanted to return product and have not been able to get anyone on the phone. Currently waiting 37 minutes. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The way they treat the paying customer tells it all. I will report them to the State of Florida Attorney General.

I’ve read all these bad reviews, and am not surprised at all! These companies count on getting money by automatically sending you more and it doesn’t matter if you call your credit card company saying you didn’t order it, you still end up paying for it. These companies show false claims to assure getting paid. My worse & last time paying for what I didn’t want was Nutrasystem. I paid at least $2,000 to lose 5 lbs. The last 2 shipments I told them I didn’t want were sent anyway & I have to pay for them. So Plexaderm is no shock to me. I’ve been burnt too many times. I suggest trying cheapest products at stores. I’m sorry for all of you!

Debbie says:

Wow how can a company do such a thing. After reading all these reviews I have decided not to order this product. Again it’s all played up so you buy it and then if there’s a problem there’s no one to speak with. This happened to me many years ago when I ordered Ellen’s product then after a month I recieved more and never ordered it. They kept putting it on my charge card without my permission . I called the credit card company and they fixed this problem lesson learned !!! Don’t buy tv products they never work not even the stores really work. Old age lines are there for life unless you get a face life to do injections

Melissa Jennings says:

Thanks to all the above comments, I will not be trying this. I wanted it for the fine wrinkles around the eyes, ” marionette” lines around my mouth from smiling as well as for those deep “worry” lines on my forehead. If the results are diluted by makeup, what’s the point? What woman isn’t going to wear makeup on special occasions? The commercial is deceiving in its presentation. It’s do2as if it were a company rep being interviewed by an independent/station/program representative. I didn’t fall for that but it’s obvious that some people did get suckered in by this tactic. I have a dear friend that has bags under her eyes badly, she uses preparation H & gets almost the same results shown on the TV model! I have tried virtually every cream, every machine such as derma wand & haven’t noticed any difference from any of them regardless of cost much less advertised results. I have come to the conclusion that only boto &/or professional dermatologist treatments or plastic surgery are the only truly effective treatments for aging or abused skin during youth. I make sure to push my daughter to use a plain old moisturizer & have instilled the need for lotion in my 4yr old granddaughter. I tell them all that they need to take the time twice a day to “lotion-up”! WE ALL NEED TO QUIT BEING SO VAIN! These companies rely on our vanity to push us into buying these truly cheap to produce yet lavishly packaged & definitely lavishly priced! I was told once that wrinkles are merely the road maps of our life travels & trials. Most all of my wrinkles are from smiling! I have no shame about them any longer bc it means I have always been a happy person! Not to mention, as long as i’m smiling, my wrinkles don’t show up as wrinkles!!! They are merely the creases created by the act of smiling! We people slut-shame, degrade, belittle, insult & gossip about appearances. We need to stop all that! You can look like the most beautiful person on the outside & yet be the absolute ugliest, most self centered, self serving with a black soul. We ALL need to work to perfect to our “insides” instead of our outsides! Dress nicely, groom yourself appropriately & skip all the gimics! The only products I have ever been happy with are Proactive (for my daughter’s teen breakouts) & WEN (it’s the bomb for dry, curly or processed hair & lasts a lot longer than one would think!!). Other than those 2, I don’t recommend any of them advertised on TV for appearance improving products!! Just my 2 cents worth!!!!

JJ says:

And…. if you notice the alledge live video… The male model never blinks. why is that?. The second video, he does. There is something wrong with the product, company; or all of the above.

tish says:

Right on!! Plastic Surgery for me. Melts in makeup. A joke, they need to go back to the labs

LaWanda (Ashley) Ritenour says:

Thank you, ladies, for the reviews. My doctor turned me on to two supplements you might like to try. Niacin 500 (freeflush). You will notice a difference on your skin the next day. It is also absolutely wonderful for acne.

Next: I could not grow healthy fingernails and my hair was falling out. Sams had samples of Collagen+C. They gave us a lot of samples since the dem was closing down. I was shocked! After several weeks I now have beautiful strong nails for the first time in my life. It takes several weeks for it to take effect but be patient. You will not be disappointed. It also helps with bones etc. Your nails and hair will thank you and so will your face. Keep healthy and Beautiful….
Blessings Beautiful Ladies from Beautiful Tennesee

Deborah Woodard says:

This product does not work well on brown skin, it will leave dark shadows under the eyes after drying

Trice says:

Omg Ms. Woodard!, Thank you sooooooooo very much for your detailed comment regarding this product men & women of colour. I extend my apologies for the terrible reaction you received from using this product. However the good thing I can see, is that you have prevented many of us from purchasing this horrific products. Thank you again. Trice

Mary Asbury says:

I bought the product, used it 3 or 4 times. I now have a bright red rash under my eye where I applied it and it burns. Thanks Plexaderm, I look like a domestic violence victim, Your product Sucks!

Ashley Devlin-Hamilton says:

I love the results, but it is burning and leaving my face red. I want, like we all do, to look better. I guess to look okay, you have to suffer. But the results really are amazing!

Toni says:

Horrible. Dried out my skin., month later trying to hydrate areas where product was applied. If your trying to keep your skin plump and hydrated,DONT USE THIS PRODUCT.
Of course they wouldn’t return my money. I’m bad. Shouldn’t have purchased it from the get go !!! It tightens your skin and burns it up at the same time -((( Really Bad Product…

Pamela Motley says:

Listen None of this eye or wrinkle skin shit will never work and all the people in the commercials and behind these bogus product need there ass beat abd eyes swollen…dont buy …..

Laurie says:

I agree…this is a bunch of shit. It did nothing for my under eye bags and they weren’t as bad as that idiot on t.v. This is a scam and it’s a waste of money.

tish says:

I love this product. However, you can’t wear makeup with it. Then what is its use???????? Walk around with no make. Excellent product but useless if one cant wear makeup. Plexderm go back to the labs!!!!!!

Anonymous says:

People!!this is not a new kind of product!!The same thing was sold in the 80;s like putting glue on your face. This is way over-priced and bad for your face!!!look at the ingredients…a germicide, and aluminum compound that can be neuro toxic!!!Aluminum can cause cancer and other diseases…..That girl on the commercial is so annoying,I cant stand her.Dont waste your money on this terrible product!

Norma roney says:

I was considering purchasing this product, but I thought I would check the reviews first. After reading a lot of the bad reviews, Wow, what a let down. I have received a lot of products that did not work as advertised, this is why I was cautious about this products. The question I ask was “how does this product effect the enter eye” I could not find an answer. I have become dubious about any products out there. People beware, always check the customer reviews before ever buying the product and what is in it and how it will effect you. Just my opinion. NJR

Denise Lemmel says:

Most people are trustworthy and it’s hard for us to believe that so many people & companies will deceive us. I’ve been burnt too many times. I’m sorry for everyone who has paid for this product, but next time research the product, read reviews, & especially the small print! Get a magnifying glass!

Susan Zoller says:

I was so hopeful that this product would actually work but after my husband and i used it we were completely unsatisfied with the results. It was like putting a mask of salt on your face. And there is no way to possibly put make up on after applying it. Perhaps if you dont wear makeup, it may work for you. But for my husband, who doesn’t weat make up abd I, who does, it fell far short of our expectations. Woyld not even rate this on a scale of 1.

Laurie says:

This is a scam…don’t buy it! The idiots you see on t.v. are not showing the true results of this product! It leaves a white residue under the eyes or wherever you put it. By the way, it does nothing for wrinkles or fine lines. SCAM.

Lorrie Andersen says:

Don’t waste your money, you can get better results with diamatris earth food grade, just mix with some cream, that practically everyone has, and apply to wrinkles on your face. You can buy this at a health food store for around $5.00 for a pound, which is a lot less and much safer.

Malia says:

L’Core eye bag and wrinkle remover is bogus also, like Plexaderm. Now I have to get plastic surgery to remove the permanent puffiness under one eye due to 2 weeks use of the expensive product bought at Fashion Mall on the Las Vegas strip from an aggressive saleswoman. When I texted her about the problem, she kept stating it uses natural products and I have to use it more often. It also leaves more wrinkles under my other eyes. She also promised me an extra tube of hand cream which I never received and she said she had mailed. My fault for getting duped.

JJ Thurman says:

It does what it do.

Robert says:

I am 72 year old man. I saw the infomercial where a gentleman, probably my age who was model for the Plexaderm product. The time lapse showed the bags under his eyes disappear within about 20 minutes. I purchased the product, applied as directed and within 5 minutes, the bags under my eyes were gone. This product works great for me and…now my wife. I don’t know why it would work for others, but it is an amazing product for us. It works!

F Butler says:

Plexaderm actually works. I have used it over and over again and my bags are diminishing. The best product ever.

Anonymous says:

I love it.Nothing better!

Jeanne says:

I really appreciate these reviews for Plexaderm. I purchased the product and definitely saw results each time I used it, BUT my eyes burned and the skin under my eyes turned purplish and looked like I had burned it. It may sound crazy, but I thought it was allergies and since they’re new to me, it made sense – itchy, discolored eyes. I’ve since learned that it is NOT the case. Thankfully, I ran out of the Plexaderm and only after not using it for several days did I notice that the skin under my eyes went back to normal…so I finally put the two together.

Traci says:

Plexiderm is amazing! I was very, very skeptical because I have wasted money on products that don’t work. I highly recommend Plexiderm- it truly works and the effects last all day.

Sherry says:

DO NOT BUY. Plexaderm does not work. Did absolutely nothing for under eye bags, it accentuate the the few wrinkles I have and made them look double. I did read reviews before buying there was alot of pro and con reviews. I decided to try it, WASTE OF MONEY.

Desiree says:

Product total scam. Sorry I paid so much for inferior product. Once again caught up in all the marketing ploys..Green tea bags and cucumbers work much better and a hell of a lot cheaper. If you like throwing away good money this is the way to do it.

Anonymous says:

Only lasts about an hour leave skin dry & has a white coating use spit to smooth out. What a waste of money……………………. DO NOT BUY

Mary Wilson says:

I loved it at first, but today my under eye area is red and swollen and still burning, and I applied it this morning following all directions. Now my eyeball is red and burning. I hope this burning will stop and will not affect my vision. I’m still in a panic mode and still in pain after 12 midnight…the application was early morning. Water seems to set the reaction off. I just hope, if I can sleep, their is no permanent eye damage. I’m not worried about getting my money back…I just want the pain to stop and retain my vision.

Anonymous says:

I tried this product and it was fine right after I put it on but later it left under eyes itchy, red and swollen. I won’t use it again. This product is terrible.

Brook Anderson says:

This product caused me a trip to my doctor. The drying effect of the under eye traveled into my eye balls and dried them out causing burning and itching. An older person needs a moisturizer and when using the two on your face, caused the plexaderm to rehydrate and the bags were back. Too many side effects, I will NOT re purchase.

Lubna H. says:

Used plexaderm today. It definitely makes a difference. I don’t know about long term results but I am fine using this under eyes just as ppl use correctors and concealors. My puffiness or drooping fat from beneath the eyes tightened up. Being an esthetician, I was curious regarding the ingredients. We have more irritants in other eye makeup products than what Plexaderm has in its ingredient list. They are fine for me.The skin tightened up. Yes, there is the drying effect but a little practice applying the product will rectify that.
The syringe type container is a little cheap to use. Mine broke. It is expensive but worth it for me.

John Carr says:

I started using Plexaderm about eight months ago and for my purposes, it’s been a good product. I’m a 69 yr. old guy and puffy eyes is my problem. The most important thing to remember is to follow the directions. after reading countless comments on Plexaderm, it is obvious that many people are using way to much. The instructions say to use an amount that is the size of a half of a pea. Also, don’t use it on dry skin, it can irritate. Used correctly, it will flatten those under eye bags. As far as the price goes, Plexaderm has had some very good sales where I’ve ended up paying only $35 per bottle. It’s not a miracle product that takes twenty years off of our face, it simply shrinks our puffiness under the eye. It’s been good for me.

Carolyn Britz Taylor says:

No returns after 30 days and my syringe doesnt3 work!

K.C. says:

My mom passed away and left 3 tubes behind. I just tried the open one and was weirded out by the *feeling* of muscle response beneath and on top of the skin. It feels… “Unusual”.

I don’t usually have bags, but I had been crying and decided to try plexaderm under and over one eye. After about 10 minutes, it was smoother, but if I made ANY eye movement, it looked like I had glue over my skin AND dry patches were around the edges. by the time I went to the bathroom to wash it off- about 15 minutes- there was a very noticeable ring around my whole eye. I wish I could post a photo. It doesn’t itch or burn (yet). I washed it off with moisturizing hand soap and my fingers only. It looks as if I am recovering from a black eye. :/ I don’t have particularly sensitive skin- I live in the city and rarely wear makeup; my skin is exposed to the elements and pollution daily. Maybe if you have a darker complexion, more natural oils in your skin, or use products daily, this won’t affect you so adversely. For me, I look like I’ve been beaten. ‘Glad I tried it 3 days before I was going to use it. If the redness doesn’t go away, I’m suing the company.

Julie says:

I purchased 3 Plexaderm products from True Earth Health. All three syringes were only able to dispense 1/3 of the product inside. Every single one stopped at the exact same spot in the syringe, leaving 2/3 of the product stuck! I called after several attempts to fix it. I made sure there were no clogs, tested each spring, etc. . . I called the company. I asked for a supervisor. I explained the issue, and said that I imagine there were 100s of people calling because their spring was faulty! It is a manufacturing issue, and companies should give full refunds when their dispensers are created incorrectly. The plunger you push could only go down so far because the outer plastic container stopped it from going any further down. That is why the product can’t come out! I have 3 syringes with 2/3 product inside I can not use! The supervisor asked me what I thought would be fair. (A refund, of coarse.) He only gave me one replacement product and will not mail it to me until he receives my three syringes to “look at.” I will have to pay to ship them back. ALSO, the company name is changed! It is no longer True Earth Health. It is now called Sheer Science. They fixed the problem and now have different dispensers but the supervisor did not give me that info. The customer service rep told me. Unfortunately, this company did not contact consumers of their product when they realized their syringes were malfunctioning. Instead, they changed their name and changed the dispenser! Too much money for the lack of customer care!

Theresa OShea says:

I’m so tired of these companies advertising wrinkle diminishing products. There’s no such thing. Just take care of your aging skin. Use Retin A & moisturize your face & neck constantly.

This is an old and poor product that glues your wrinkles together, and OBVIOUS. Sold on QVC centuries ago

Angela says:

Years ago when I was younger, when mom and dad bought ANY products, they worked at leas 90 percent of time! And if they didn’t work, they got money back quickly and easily. The companies were more honest and ethical! If my dad ordered a pizza and it wasn’t hot, or he had to wait too long, iT WAS FREE! Now, It seems like it’s the exact opposite. They didn’t even have to pay a fee depending on their method of payment! It’s really sad when you have to research a product before buying just to confirm it works! And good customer service is a thing of the past, in many cases. I feel the government should tighten standards on a lot of these companies! Many co’s are ripping people off all the time. it’s all about the money and not the value of the product or service. Many companies charge to much for products anyway! And I don’t blame the people that order. Most people want to look their best. Most of us don’t even mind spending a little over budget to treat ourselves. We just want what we buy to be worth it & to do what it’s supposed to. We all need hope! I’m so glad for the reviews. I don’t mind paying for something that actually works & won’t cause issues. And I now realize this product is NOT IT!

Plexaderm does work on all skin tones and types I attest ! Its a bit pricey, but you know us woman, and some men also you can’t put a price on beauty or happiness. We fight over, and share Plexaderm in my household, as there are 4 generations of woman under one roof. My grandmother ordered if off TV first, the first time my mom, my daughter an I couldn’t believed how young she looked. So then my mom orders some, followed my me. My daughter is just 15, so she occasional get a squirt, if shes been up all night doing homework, or practicing her face beats. When we see a package arrive in the mail, we all say ” Show me your name on the package”, LOL. Plexaderm is just as the commercial says, no phony, no con. Like so many other products. I’ve been a autopay customer for a year now. No additional dryness or sensitivity, I do still see some affects the next day. In our house, of aging women We love this stuff!!

Janett says:

Ok I purchased the product and when I tried to contact the customer service department guess what I was not able to….
With that being said!!!!

Sylvia Link says:

PLEXADERM IS A BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!! I ordered a 14 day trial but the product delivered was NOT Plexaderm. It was a different product, arrived almost 2 weeks after ordered, and made no reference to Plexaderm whatsoever. Neither did it supply an address or any means of contact. When I called the Plexaderm t.v. offer number, I was referred to customer service who never picked up. My account has been charged $142.30 each month for ten months and deliveries keep arriving monthly with no possible way to return these unopened parcels. I am filing fraud claims with my bank and the Social Security Administration as the funds used to pay are for a disability compensation. I would never have agreed to that amount.

Tammy says:

Plexaderm feel like putting a light coat of elmers glue on your face. As the glue dries, it tightens. This tightness is very temporary. Less than an hour. Also you can imagine what makeup looks like applied over dried glue.

Paula Wolfert says:

Don’t care whats in Plexaderm, don’t care where its made, all I know is Plexaderm is AMAZING! I have had dark circles and puffy bags most of my adult life, tried many, many products and nothing has come close to Plexaderm. It is a fantastic product!!!! FANTASTIC!!!
