Patrick Ferrari is a 26-year-old from Albany, Oregon, where he works as a mental health foster care professional. He was "OK" with his weight until his habits affected his wife, whose weight became an issue after their marriage. As a child his father had a drug problem as was imprisoned, leading to his parents divorce, and Patrick coped by eating. When Patrick is in shape he wants to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer.
