Make Small Changes to Prevent Diabetes

Snack smarter and eat healthier!

Nearly 24 million American children and adults have diabetes, while 57 million have pre-diabetes. Making small changes in nutrition and activity levels can help prevent the onset of type-two diabetes. Registered dietitian, Rebecca Scritchfield joined Fox to talk about these changes. Anyone can make these small changes that add up to long-term results. Rebecca offers advice on how to cut back on sugar, snack smart, control portions and increase your mindfulness. She also recommends food journaling or tracking your food with a mobile app.
