The conclusion of a 10-year research project by Seattle pediatrician Dr. Robert Pretlow shows that children are displaying addiction tendencies toward salty, sweet, and fatty foods, a behavior that can lead to obesity because of the associated over eating. Nearly 80 percent of the child participants said they eat more now than when they first became overweight.
