About Me:

I am 59 1/2 y/o female who has struggled with weight since childhood. I have 2 children, 2 grand children a wonderful husband and great career as an RN. I actually am in love with life and the people that surround me.

The goals I'm working toward:

  • Lose 25 pounds
  • Become more physically agile
  • Maintain healthy weight and lifestyle

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

I have been overweight since childhood and have experienced all the struggles that goes with it. Just 3 years ago I did lose 28 lbs but have put it all back on.

My favorite healthy food:

I love grilled vegetables, apples and applesauce, fish

My guiltiest pleasure:

Potato chips and fried foods

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I want to be the best I can be for as long as I can. I am approaching 60 years old and want to be able to do as much as I can with my family.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • I have enrolled in exercise class
  • Write down everything I eat daily w exercise
  • I love to walk and do 3 miles when weather is good

My favorite activity at the gym is:

I have not been in a gym for years

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Being a RN
  • Being a grandmother
  • Losing weight when I did 3 years ago
