I am a passionate Ohio ultra-runner, as well as a drug and alcohol counselor and am always training for my next big adventure! Currently my adventure is a 100K trail race in Oct 2012. Outside of running I also enjoy swimming, cycling, hiking, yoga, Zumba...OK I am an all around fitness enthusiast. Each Friday I post a "fun & easy" recipe to encourage people to become more comfortable with their kitchens and food
The goals I'm working toward:
- finish a 100K in oct
- perform 100 pushups by 6/30
- happiness
I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:
birth. I'm always thinking there is more to lose or to tone and I fluctuate a lot
My favorite healthy food:
spinach, golden delicious apples
My guiltiest pleasure:
chocloate
I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:
I want to lead by example with my blog
Healthy habits that work for me:
- drink mostly water
- plan meals in advance
- work out with friends
My favorite activity at the gym is:
swimming

- Working as a therapist
- completing my first marathon
- maintaing a successful blog for 3+ years
