Asana is the Sanskrit term for posture. Asana refers to the physical expression of the thousands of yoga postures. Usually, an Asana yoga posture in the Sanskrit language always ends in “asana,” like as “trikonasana” (triangle pose), “balasana” (child’s pose) or “sirsasana” (headstand).
