The pink team in season 11 is made up of Sarah and her mother, Deni Hill. "We took turns being down," Deni said in a DietsInReview interview. However, they both encouraged each other. "Now we're at the point where we say, 'we can this.' " The pink team knows that they have big shoes to fill after pink team members Ali Vincent won in season five and Helen Phillips won in season seven.
