We have a beautiful, long trail across the street. Unfortunately, it's far too snowy and cold to run outside!

So far, on a treadmill but I am hoping that will change. :)

My favorite place to run is the dirt road that I live on. Its long, windy and hilly. Rarely any vehicle traffic. Perfect!

I just got my first pair of Kuru's shoes yesterday, and so far I love them. I walk on the treadmill as I live in an area I would not walk outside.

When I was younger I failed my Middle School gym running test. Also that year, in junior football the coach wouldn't let everyone leave until I beat everyone. Running left a really bad taste in my mouth. I began to get into better shape and in college I lived just off campus by a river that had a trail to the lake. I began to love my alone time as ran to and from that river, about a 5 mile trip. In the spring I loved seeing all the beautifulbudding tulips alongside the river. In the summer, when I got to the lake, I'd dunk my head into the cool, soothing water before I started back. And in the fall, I always loved this one part of the trail that was abou 200 yards long: the trees perfectly framed the trail and the beautiful, multicolored leaves would line the barely visible, cotton-covered path. Because of this "magic" trail, last year I ran my first ever marathon.

Walking is actually my favorite exercise of all time. Your feet become more value able as we age, as I have recently found out with Morton's Neuroma and Plantar Fascitis. I lost 70 pounds years ago, in 2 years, from walking and eating better.
