2011 Nutrition Nut Gift Guide

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a great way to get fresh produce and support your local farmers. A farmer or farm community will sell a certain number of shares at the beginning of the growing season. The customer who buys these shares then in turn get a box of fresh produce throughout the season, usually one a week or once every other week. Giving the gift of a CSA share allows the recipient to not only have a fresh supply of vegetables and fruits throughout the spring, summer and fall, but it can also be a way to introduce them to foods they might not otherwise buy.
