Turkey with Bacon
Turkey and bacon meet for a great entree.
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, cut into pieces
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 lbs. boneless turkey
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Cook bacon over medium heat until browned
- Remove
- Cook mushrooms in bacon fat over high heat, until tender
- Remove
- In same pan, cook turkey until brown
- Add chicken broth to the turkey
- Heat to boiling
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes
- Return mushrooms and bacon to skillet
- Heat and serve
