Sausage Stuffed Chicken
A double take with sausage anc chicken.
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1/8 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 4 chicken breasts, flattened
Instructions
- Brown sausage in a large frying pan, breaking up with a fork
- When all the pink is gone and sausage is thoroughly cooked, remove from heat
- Drain excess fat from sausage meat
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well
- Place on flattened chicken breasts, roll up, and secure with a toothpick
- Bake at 425º F for 35-40 minutes
