Stuffed Green Peppers
Meat and cheese overflow from these peppers.

Serves 4
Ingredients
2 large green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1- 7.5 oz. canned tomatoes, diced
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Halve peppers lengthwise, removing stem ends, seeds and membranes
Immerse in boiling water for 3 minutes
Invert on paper towels and drain well
In a large skillet cook meat until brown
Drain off fat (remove and pat with paper towels)
Return meat to skillet and stir in undrained tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt and pepper to taste
Bring to a boil
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes
Stir in half of the cheese
Fill peppers with meat mixture
Place in 2 quart baking dish
Bake at 375
º
F for 15 minutes
Sprinkle with remaining cheese
Let stand two minutes
