This delicious recipe is very red for Valentine’s day or for a perfect ending to any meal.
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tsp cornstarch
1 cup orange juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 cups frozen raspberries
In a large nonstick skillet or other wide pan, combine sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch and orange juice. Whisk to dissolve the cornstarch then bring the liquid to a boil over high heat. Stir in the cinnamon, reduce to a simmer and cook 2 or 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the berries and remove from the heat. Serve warm in an elegant dessert dish or stemmed glass.
