Spanish Rice with Peas

Yield: 6 -1 cup per serving

Instructions

1 cup white long grain rice
14-ounce can tomatoes with Italian herbs
1/3 cup tomato paste
1-1/2 cups water
dash hot pepper sauce
2 cups frozen green peas

Place all ingredients except peas into large, shallow microwave container. Cover and cook for 15 minutes on high until rice is more that half way done. Add peas on top of rice but don’t stir. Cook for 5 more minutes or until rice is done and peas are hot.
