Purple Cow Smoothie

This is an easy breakfast on the run. Make it the night before, store it in the refrigerator in the blender jar and blend in the morning.

1 cup skim or fortified soy milk
1 cup calcium-fortified orange juice
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup wheat germ

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until pureed smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 12 hours. If you make it ahead, we recommend blending quickly before serving.
