Microwave Dutch Apple Oatmeal

Yield: Serves 2. Each serving: 2 cups.



1 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
2 cups water
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
1 apple, chopped (leave peel on)
1 Tbsp dark seedless raisins
1 cup skim milk

Place oatmeal, water, spices, apple and raisins in a large microwave container and microwave on high for 5-6 minutes or until oatmeal is thick. Allow to stand for a few minutes and serve with skim milk.
