Lemon Baked Trout

Lemon Baked Trout Photo Yield: Serves 4. 1 serving.



Lemon Baked Trout
1 pound fresh or frozen/thawed trout fillets
2 lemons, cut in half
1 cup thinly sliced onion
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place trout filets in a 9 by 12 inch baking pan. Sprinkle the juice of a 1/2 a lemon over each fillet. Layer onions over the top of each fish. Grate or sprinkle black pepper over the top of each fillet.

Cover pan of trout with foil and bake until done, about 20-30 minutes. Fish is done when it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
