Ham Salad Sandwich

Yield: Serves 4. 1 sandwich per serving.



12 slices lowfat ham, diced
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon sweet relish
1/3 cup sliced green onion
2 tablespoons nonfat mayonnaise
2 cups ready-to-serve romaine lettuce
8 slices whole wheat bread

Toss ham, tomatoes, relish, onions and mayonnaise together in medium-sized mixing bowl.

Divide the salad among 4 slices whole grain bread, place lettuce on top of salad and then a slice of bread on top of the sprouts.

Serving suggestions for this sandwich: baked tortilla chips, carrot sticks and small tossed green salad.
