Ham Chow Mein

Country cooking meets Chinese cuisine.

Yield: Serves 4



  1. Melt butter
  2. Add onions and sautee for 5 minutes
  3. Add salt, pepper, celery and hot water
  4. Cover and cook for 5 minutes
  5. Add bean sprouts and ham
  6. Mix thoroughly and heat to boiling point
  7. Add flavoring and thickening ingredients
  8. Stir lightly and cook for 5 minutes
  9. Serve with chow mein noodles
