Cranberry Bread
You'll feel right at home with a slice.

Makes 12 slices
Ingredients
Nonstick cooking spray
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 egg whites
1/3 cup applesauce
3 Tbs. buttermilk
1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Lightly coat a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray
In a medium-size bowl, combine flours, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking soda
In a larger bowl, beat the egg whites at high speed for 1 minute
Beat in applesauce and buttermilk
Gradually add the flour mixture and beat until combined
Stir in cranberries and walnuts
Transfer to prepared loaf pan
Bake for 45 minutes or until the edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan and a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean
Slice and serve
