Chili Rice Pot

Yield: Serves 4. Each serving: 1-1/2 cups

Instructions

1 cup instant brown rice
1 12 ounce can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 12 ounce can no-salt-added diced tomatoes
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Place all ingredients into the 2 quart microwave container and mix well. Cover and microwave on high until rice is done and liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes. Serve hot.
