Macaroni is mixed with beans and a zesty tomato sauce.
2 cups elbow macaroni, dry
2-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup prepared salsa
3 tablespoons tomato paste
15-ounce can kidney beans, drained
1/2-1 teaspoon chile powder
Place all ingredients in a nonstick skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
Cook uncovered, stirring frequently for 8-10 minutes or until macaroni is tender and excess liquid is evaporated.
