This dish goes well with a small scoop of nonfat frozen yogurt or vanilla yogurt. It can also be used to top cereal, pancakes or waffles.
3 ripe freestone peaches
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 Tbsp sugar
pinch ground cinnamon
Wash the fruit under cold, running water. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit; then cut them into wedges. Combine the peaches, blueberries, sugar and cinnamon in a shallow ceramic or glass baking dish and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave the fruit on full power until soft and bubbly, about 8 minutes. Serve the fruit warm.
